The Panthers have remembered they’re a running team, and have taken a 14-10 halftime lead over the Buccaneers.

The Bucs jumped out to a 10-0 lead, scoring after a fumbled punt return by Panthers returner Captain Munnerlyn. But the Panthers cornerback atoned by returning an interception for a touchdown, and Jonathan Stewart scored his first rushing touchdown of the year (believe it or not).

The Panthers have 85 rushing yards at halftime, after managing just 10 yards against the Bucs in a Week One loss.

The game’s more competitive than an artistic success, with some good defense being played by both sides. Cam Newton looks off after taking a low hit, and trainers have been busy on both sides.
