The Patriots don’t just have tough players.

They have tough coaches, who are willing to work through the pain.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter notes that Patriots linebacker coach Pepper Johnson will be on crutches today on the sidelines, after suffering a torn quadriceps muscle.

Johnson apparently tore the muscle in practice last week, and had surgery this week to repair the damage.
