Gruden focused on the little details and that rubbed off on Gannon. I don’t remember Gannon breaking any records before he came to the Raiders. Gruden somehow got him to the next level. I don’t know if Carson has the brain, but i don’t question his heart anymore.

What did Gruden do for Gannon? He was already a proven starter in KC and was better than Elvis Grbac. Schottenheimer was just too blind to see it. Gruden can’t evaluate talent and is overrated.

Both the Raiders and the Chargers are doing it wrong, and they’re going to pay for it. The Chiefs at least have a shot at the 1st pick next year. But what good are the few extra wins by SAN and OAK???

Granted, there’s no Andrew Luck coming up in the next number of draft years, but it doesn’t change the fact that all three of those sorry teams need to draft a future starting QB.

In fairness to Carson, he’s the most decent QB we’ve had in that decade ur talking about! (of course you’ll disagree)Everything is cyclical even in football and had the Jamarcus pick pan out, its the Raiders turn! AFC west has been up for grabs the last few years – the Chiefs and the Chargers are in a steep decline and Payton isnt exactly his old self. Chugging that hater-aid by the gallon is not healthy, Doug!

Don’t fire Allen or Tarver. Look at the guys they are working with. Tarver doesn’t have his 2 starting corners so his saftey came to play. Fire gregg knapp. The play calling is terrible and the zone blocking scheme hasn’t worked at all. Get rid of giordano, mitchell, kelly, seymour, and rolando. Start the defense all over

I’m holding judgement until next year at least. Bill Walsh did go 2-14 in his 1st season. I just don’t believe in Knapp though.

Not sure if Dennis Allen is HC material, (tho it seem he’s fixed the Raiders penalty issues no one’s ever solved) For sure Knapp and Tarver arnt Coordinator material! They need to go! i Still say Jamarcus set this team back at least 3 years..

Because Gruden is in town for Chicago-S.F. on Monday Night Football, and he always checks in on the Raiders whenever he is in Northern Cali – like he did the previous years.

Probably will stop by Rickey’s Sports Bar as well. Gruden is lifelong Raider Nation strong.

Lets not forget what a disaster the team’s personnel situation was in going into the season. The Palmer trade was a costly one and the “scholarship” program that was in place takes time to be fully rinsed and cleaned out. There will be holes as a result of years of mismanagement, but smart drafting and coaching can right the ship. It just won’t happen for 3 years..

Raiders need to completely rebuild. Cut Tommy Kelly and Richard Seymour, trade Carson Palmer for any draft picks you can get (buffalo, jacksonville), and if you can get some decent picks for Run DMC I’d trade him also just because he is always hurt and makes a ton of money. The raiders will be bad for at least 3 years but will be free of high salaries and will have a few complete drafts full of high draft picks.

Mark, Lloyd, or Spook, I could care less what they call you, but what you are is important, the owner of the Raiders, the son of a HOF. Do us all a huge favor here at Raider Nation….hit the reset button! This is not working. We could accept growing pains, but this season is regression. There is only one man in football that will have the desire, passion, work dedication, and full support to see this great franchise back to greatness. Please Mark-Lloyd-Spook, give Jon Gruden the keys to the football side of this franchise, He wants more than a head coaching gig, he wants power, the Nation is behind that power. Make the call tomorrow, give him any title now, executive of football operations sounds good. Please!

At this point I count Palmer, Reese, Myers, Wz, Veldheer, Wheeler, Burris, DHB, and Moore as the only players who are safe to be on the team next year.

It’s apparent many overrated players still need to be cleaned out from this team (i.e., Kelly, Branch, McLain, Huff, and a bunch more).
