If Brandon Jacobs really does hate his boss, another game warming the bench is unlikely to change that.
Jacobs, the 49ers running back who still hasn’t played this season, is inactive once again for tonight’s game against the Bears.
As expected, both starting quarterbacks, San Francisco’s Alex Smith and Chicago’s Jay Cutler, are also on the inactive list for tonight’s game.
The 49ers’ other inactives are A.J. Jenkins, LaMichael James, Joe Looney, Trenton Robinson and Ian Williams. The Bears’ other inactives are D.J. Moore, Dane Sanzenbacher, Edwin Williams, Matt Toeaina, Shea McClellin and Cheta Ozougwu.
