hitting the sauce a little early???? Browns are a division game and the Steelers are battling for Wild Card, they aren’t laying down for the Browns Plax is coming back, he owns the red zone, and the Steelers have 3 Quarterbacks coming in today , Tebow showed interest but he is hurt. it’s and honor to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Plus I don’t know why you people thing the Steelers are in bad shape, the friggin Ravens barely squeaked past out 2nd string injured QB. Plus Heath Miller is an outstanding Quarterback. yes Heath Miller was originally a Quarterback and they mad him a tight end because of his size. Steelers Win 4 in a row and lose1 division game and everyone now knows everything about football and probable only watch one game.

Love it and hope the Browns win on Sunday. On talk radio here in Pittsburgh, it seems as if a lot of people are looking past Browns to Ravens. I thought the Browns looked great on Sunday and I think they’re going to win this Sunday!!

No joke, KDKA in pittsburgh, just reported Tim couch met with the steelers today, and will sign tommorrow pending a physical. Apparently he has been working out in Kentucky, and has recovered from a shoulder surgery a few years back. Wow, never saw that one coming, don’t think he can offer any help with the browns playbook this week but hey gotta be an improvement over batch.

Welcome Plax, you are still a matchup problem for any team. Leftwich has been a huge waste of money the last three years, my grandma is in better shape. Still wondering, is the Steelers defense that good or the Ravens offense that bad. Ravens are lucky Ben was not playing, they will exit first game in playoffs.

micahernst : I agree Stillers backup QB situation is a mess but VY would be a train wreck. Don’t kid urself, the BB injury is WORSE than anyone is letting on. May not play until wk 16 or 17 if then. The only logical signing is Jerrod Johnson, the rookie from TX A&M they had in camp & preseason. He played well. Is familiar with Haley. Is a big kid(6’5 250). I was shocked they didn’t sign him to the practice squad outta camp. gem in the rough.

Wouldnt Jerrod Johnson make the most sense to sign? He looked pretty good in preseason. Yeah, preseason. But that’s still better than other QBs out of a job for so long and have no familiarity with Haley’s offense. ANd dont even tell me Palko. Palko is flat out putrid.

Dixon would not be much help regarding the Steelers playbook since they have changed OCs since Dixon was with the team.

Dixon didn’t know the playbook when he was with the team either.

Good pick up the man is hungry and humble right now I’ve spoke to him a few times he just wants a chance to show he can still play in this league. And you know Heath is going to be asked to block more with Ben out and we need a big target in the red zone. He will be big on 3rd downs also and people forget Hines taught him how to block watch some old highlights he’s a pretty good blocker.

Interesting move. I agree with some others that Hines Ward would have more to contribute but he probably doesn’t want to screw up his TV “career”.

Even before the Ben injury the Steelers were woefully prepared at backup QB. They don’t need to sign a QB right now, its pretty much too late for that. I’d take at least a week to learn the offense and I imagine Ben will be back after the Ravens game. They do need to pickup someone in the offseason though. What about Vince Young?

I think they may bring back the fourth QB in training camp but not the Ohio state player, i think he went out west anyway. Bring back the Johnson guy, played with Tannehill i think.

My god my steelers are falling apart. Did any of you see antonio brown laughing it uo with ed reed on the sidelines while cotchery lay on the field hurt? Not to mention while we were losing!!! And ryan clark over in the ratbirds locker room after the game laughing and goofing off with ed reed? They dont care about losing! I lost a lot of respect for them guys. They just lost the most crucial game of the year and didnt even care! Just a money making job. They dont care about winning or losing. Sad day in steelers history! Could you picture lynn swann or joe greene ever doing something like that?? NEVER!!!!!!!

1. Losing brown and cotchery we need a temporary wr. It is a good signing.

2. We need to sign another qb today. Dixon would be great, Gerrard would also be good for a 2 to 3 game fill in.

Make the playoffs and look fwd to round3 with Balt.
