APThe Jabar Gaffney experiment has ended in Miami.
The veteran receiver has been waived to create a roster spot for tight end Kyle Miller, who was claimed on waivers by Miami from the Colts.
Miller had spent the entire season on the Indianapolis practice squad. He was elevated to the active roster in advance of the Colts’ game at New England. Waived after the game by the Colts, who presumably intended to sign Miller to the practice squad, the Dolphins disrupted those plans by pouncing on Miller.
Gaffney appeared in three games for the Dolphins, catching four passes for 68 yards. He missed last Thursday’s game against the Bills with a knee injury.

The constant revolving door known as the Dolphins Receivers:
Brandon in, Brandon out
Chad in, Chad out
Anthony in, Anthony out
Jabar in, Jabar out
smh
The Dolphins do need a seam threat TE. Clay should have been able to make an impact by now and Egnew is not even close from what I read. Miller is slower than Fasano. Not sure how this is a good signing unless the LS is hurt
2nd round pick for finley. We swear hes going to break out any year now… Scouts honor. – Ted Thompson
Miller looked decent in the preseason for the Colts. He appeared to be a physical, pass-catching TE.
garbage in = garbage out
The Pats sign a TE from the Giants off waivers(who is on IR for the year!) and the media and fans bit(h and moan for three weeks. It generated national headlines and was a main headline on Espn and other sports programs.
The dolphins do the EXACT same thing signing Miller away from the Colts and barely a whisper about it. Friggn hypocrites.
Is this another Ireland decision? Bad move bad move
