Dominic Raiola tells J.J. Watt to “bring it”

Lions center Dominic Raiola doesn’t seem to be in awe of Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt.

Asked today about preparing to face Watt on Thursday, Raiola said he’s ready to handle the best Watt has to offer.

You know, whatever. Bring it,” Raiola said. “Just bring it. We play top D-tackles every week, so J.J. Watt, bring it.”

Watt should have responded, “Oh, it’s already been broughten,” but he didn’t. Instead, Watt said everyone will find out soon enough if he can bring it against Raiola.

“Just watch the game and find out,” Watt said.

If Watt brings it like he has for most of this season, it won’t be a happy Thanksgiving in Detroit.

    JJ Watt – 3-4 DE
    Railoa – Center

So basically they will never line up face to face.
Big talk there Dom. Big talk.

Easy for Raiola to say as a center…Watt will probably be lined up over Backus, Cherilus, or Reiff on the outside most of the game anyway.

Nice job putting your teammates lives in danger, Dom.

Dude – Ryan Pickett and Erik Walden got pressure on Stafford…
They never get pressure – Ryan a 1 trick run stopping pony…
If he can get pressure – a dude like JJ Watt will crush the lions pocket.

fantastic thats exactly what we need is a fired up JJ . btw Backus wont play ending his 12 year streak of never missing a game. so it is Reiff time in the D.

texans are going down, the packers beat them up and the lions D will shut them down. lions 28 texans 10.

Raiola is right though. Lions go against and have gone against many great pass rushers…Aldon Smith, Jared Allen, Chris Long, Julius Peppers, etc…and have done good against all of them. Like he said, bring it…

Lol! File this one under “be careful what you wish for.” What’s the Lions’ record again? Talk is cheap….especially when you can’t back it up.

Dom has a big mouth, but I like his confidence. At least JJ Watt isnt unclassy like the whole Niners organization.

As a lions fan I am tired of Raiola. A below average center with a big mouth. Hope JJ Watt puts him on IR, But lions win game

J.J. Watt will put on a clinic for Suh. Remind Detroit fans what could have been.

Hah. Raiola is such a loudmouth clown. If he blocked half as well as he talks, he’d be All-Pro every year.

Does this guy ever stop running his mouth? Much like his team and especially like his head coach, he is all bark and no bite.

Watt has moved around the formation a lot so he should see some Raiola.
