Reminds me of back in 1998 when I was living in the D.C. area, and there was some really great NFC game I was looking forward to watching. Instead, I got the 0-5 Redskins vs. the 0-5 Eagles. I got NFL Sunday Ticket the next year, and never looked back.

This is all about RGIII; people want to see him. If Rex Grossman was still QBing this team, they’d have switched away from this game in a heartbeat.

I didn't realize RGIII played for the eagles or the cowboys.

This just in: Andy Reid started to suck when the Eagles lost to the 49ers in 2011!!!

To have the subject of his imminent dismissal on the airwaves is discourteous to viewers and Jeffrey Lurie should find this to be a distraction and fire him after MNF vs. Carolina!!!

He is doing nothing And it makes no sense to have nothing to offer on the table when you have to face the team that's at least doing something!!!!

The only other games possibly worth putting in the Sunday night slot are Pittsburgh/Baltimore, and maybe Tampa Bay/Denver. Steelers/Ravens was this past Sunday's matchup, so the NFL wouldn't flex that into the night game. Tampa/Denver wouldn't pull in nearly as big an audience as Philly/Dallas, so the NFL wouldn't replace that game either. It's really as simple as a lack of options.

The league had no choice but to leave the Cowboys in as the Giants are playing on Monday night football (and playing Sunday night this week). There are three games that week featuring 6-4 vs 7-3 teams, all vying for playoff spots, and yet we get a 5-5 Dallas vs 3-7 Eagles. I hope if the league realigns, they get Dallas out of the NFC East.
