Jets cut Jason Hill, again

It’s fitting that, on the same day receiver Plaxico Burress got a job with the Steelers, a guy who has a low “Q” rating in the Burress household got fired.

The Jets have released receiver Jason Hill for the second time this season, according to Rich Cimini of  The team also worked out, but have not yet signed, former Jets receiver Patrick Turner.

Hill was signed after the Jets lost receiver Santonio Holmes for the season with a torn ACL.

I don’t know who he is,” Burress said when addressing the team’s decision not to sign Plaxico instead.  “I’m sorry.”

He probably isn’t really sorry.  Especially not now.

Yeah, cause Jason Hill is the sole reason as to why they’re 4-6 with one of the most abysmal passing attacks I’ve ever seen.

I’m just shocked the jets didn’t pick up Branch on waivers specially right before they play the pats. I mean this guy will never sign to the jets so the only way to get him was to force him on the team by taking the waiver. But hey it’s the Jets the best offensive moves the jets pulled this season was sign, cut, sign, and cut the same player.
