It’s fitting that, on the same day receiver Plaxico Burress got a job with the Steelers, a guy who has a low “Q” rating in the Burress household got fired.
The Jets have released receiver Jason Hill for the second time this season, according to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com. The team also worked out, but have not yet signed, former Jets receiver Patrick Turner.
Hill was signed after the Jets lost receiver Santonio Holmes for the season with a torn ACL.
“I don’t know who he is,” Burress said when addressing the team’s decision not to sign Plaxico instead. “I’m sorry.”
He probably isn’t really sorry. Especially not now.
