Other teams win by large point margins and no one complains about them running up the score. Didn’t see a whole lot of complaints when a team ran a fake field goal with a large lead.

As far as the Ryan guy, I’ve heard him say that off the field, Belichik is a good guy to have a beer with.

Pt fans would of boo’d Brady and Bill had they benched Gronk on that 59th point.

Pat fans will have to sweat out an injury when your team put 95 on the Jets.

Brady put it best on TV today. “We can’t get over confident just because they are the Jets”. So hat 95th point may be the difference in the game.

I do not hate the Pats, but I do hate it that Gronk got hurt and I wish him a speedy recovery. Nor do I criticize Belichick for the injury.

That said, however, I do hold the opinion that if Gronk was destined to suffer a broken arm anyway, and thereby cause his coach grief and anxiety, it’s awfully satisfying that it’s Belichick rather than some, you know, human being.

Bigger question is, why was Luck still playing in the game? He was the one getting constantly thrashed, not Brady. Nothing like risking the new future of your franchise to a devastating injury in a then-meaningless game.

Rex says something nice without possible conflict, but some people just have to find something wrong with him and the comment.

Don’t you shipping and receiving clerks worry about Rex and his future. If he he gets fired Friday morning, there’ll be an offer or 3 by the afternoon to coach in the NFL.

Wont deny BB one of the best coaches o all time. And the guy who wrote that any team would trade the last 12 years for the pats… Maybe your team. Bc the last 13 years the new york giants have gone to 3 superbowls and won 2.. So have the steelers. Pretty sure those 2 teams dont care to have the pats. Anyway the guy is 6’7 270+ lbs why wouldnt he be out there blocking. Stuff happens its football and you move on! You cant question a guy like BB especially after the career he has had. Maybe if it were a rookie coach or someone like rex ryan then you question him but BB you just shut it and move on! Im a giants fan and he was once our d coordinator so i root for the guy except against the g-men

I’m sick of this running up the score bs .I would never sit or rest a player for no reason unless they were nursing an injury. You know why teams like the giants (2 times) and the packers won suberbowls? because it was a full season long battle to make the playoffs and when they got there they were better prepared. Everyone always talks about team x getting hot in the playoffs, its because while they are scraping to make it, other “elite” teams are taking a break.

I’m a huge Pats fan and there’s no other coach in the NFL I would rather have leading the Pats than Bill, but he is as much to blame when things go wrong as he gets the credits when things go right. This is poor management on his part. Why do you not play your starters for most of the preseason games? You just do not put your best TE on the team in plays he shouldn’t be in and increase his changes of getting injured.

In that case why isn’t Gronk blocking on every single passing play? In fact he’s doing quite the opposite most of the time. No one else on the roster is capable is blocking a guy for a quick two seconds who isn’t even rushing overly hard? Reality is that no one thinks about this until it’s too late, even the infallible Belichik. “PAT attempt, get out there” and no more thought goes into it, until it’s too late.

Pats fans wonder why BB collects tight ends like cordwood. While Gronk’s arm heals he can rest his back and Hernandez can pick up the slack. Clearly getting everybody healthy for a SB run is the goal. Meanwhile, Rex just hopes BB doesn’t run it up on him in two days. Could cost him his job. Kiss the ring and pray!
