1. Texans play in the easiest division this season

2. It’s not inconceivable that they could clinch a spot this weekend. GB clinched a spot after beating the Lions on Thanksgiving last year.

Last weekend with updated records the Texans had the 9th toughest schedule to date. Not the hardest but by far not the easiest.

Who will beat them in the AFC? The Pats? They LOST at home to a horrible Cardinals team. The Texans beat the Broncos (on the road), beat the Ravens…by your logic of taking single game results as absolute…then the Texans are already in the superbowl.

Well then I guess you’d say the same thing about 9-1 Atlanta who needed a miracle to beat Carolina and Oakland at home and barely scraped by Arizona..once again at home… Or New England, who lost to horrendous Arizona at home…

Texans probably win Thursday, but the Bengals will delay the Texans celebration for at least another week.

All those other teams could legitimately lose this weekend.
