They even loss to the Cowboys which says something about them too.

Hi Mike:
I actually like the ranking for the Seahawks. 9th seems about right and they are rising. But since you jabbed them once again about the Green Bay game, I assume in all fairness you will go back and review every bad call for every team that is in playoff contention.
____________________
Forget it. You know deep down you were handed that game. It does not matter the Green bay as they will be getting in anyway. The team it will matter to is whoever Seattle steals the wildcard spot from.

The best team in football doesn't reside in Houston,Atlanta,Foxboro,Baltimore or Green Bayl. It's in Denver, Colorado. Especially in the Texans and Falcons case. You don’t barely win in OT to the worst (Jaguars)team in football at home and just say it’s a bump on the road we’ll be fine. You don't barely beat a tail spinning Cardinals with a back up to a back up QB at home. Remember this is the same Falcon team that struggled to beat the Raiders at home earlier this season.

Ya.. Because beating the Colts is really as daunting as you make it sound. They have one impressive win (GB) this season and have squeak out victories against Cleveland, Miami, Tennessee, and Minnesota. They’ve been manhandled by the Jets, Pats, and Chicago.

And in case you’ve forgotten. The 1-9 Jags got their lone win in Indy.
____________________________
This isn't College football, margin of victory means absolutely nothing. Who are you trying to impress by putting down the Colts anyway? Everyone and their mother had them winning three games or less. Ten games in they sit at 6-4, granted the Jax loss was bad, but that was a fluke play at the end of regulation. Those things happens with young teams. On the other hand the Patriots were thought by many to be the best team coming into the season. Some experts had them going undefeated. So tell me, what is more embarrassing the Colts exceeding all expectations, or the Patriots falling short of expectations?

“The Redskins are the best team in the NFC as far as I’m concerned. RGIII best QB in professional football at this point and time.”
This post wins the award for funniest AND most dellusional. RGIII is so over-rated it isn’t even funny. Colin K for the Niners is LIGHT years ahead of him. RGIII is running a flag football style offense, cannot read defenses and is not growing and he wont under this coach.
________________________________
While I don’t think the Redskins are anywhere near the best team in the NFC and RGIII isn’t quite the best QB yet, saying he’s overrated and Colin K is light years ahead is just hating.

Colin K is good, but RG3 is currently 5th in the league in QB rating and 6th in completion % with only 3 INTs (Luck had 3 on Sunday). That’s without his #1 WR all year and #1 TE for half the year. Oh yeah and he’s got 700 yards and 6 rushing TDs.

And before you argue that all he does is check it down, he’s 4th in the league in yards/attempt.

Saying he’s playing a “flag football offense and won’t improve” is just dumb. He’s 10 games into his career and running a zone read hybrid offense where he has about 4 different ways he can go AFTER the snap.

"Based off what? The Patriots beat Denver. In a game that wasn’t as close as the final score indicated.

Wrong. Yes the Pats started out with a 31-7 lead but the Broncos stormed back and was a fumble awary from making it a 3 point game. Lots of teams lose to teams they shouldn't and that doesn't make them better over the season just that game. That being said I would put the Pats ahead of the Broncos but don't throw statements out there that are not entirely true.

Lots of teams lose to teams they shouldn’t and that doesn’t make them better over the season just that game. That being said I would put the Pats ahead of the Broncos but don’t throw statements out there that are not entirely true.

Once again just like last week, the only thing you can manage to say about the #9 Seahawks is about a game over two months ago. They have played games since then and I can imagine there are some other aspects of the team to say something about.

Lets move on, any number of games, plays and bad calls since then will have affected playoff seedings just the same.

Flacco is better in this series than Roethlisberger. The media needs justification for how the Steelers ever win (when the reason is obviously the biased officiating), so they perpetuate the myth that Roethlisberger outplays Flacco, which is obviously completely false.

"At worst I would have Hou, SF, and Balt ahead of them in the power rankings….and even though the Pats beat Denver you might have to slide them ahead of New England too."

Based off what? The Patriots beat Denver. In a game that wasn't as close as the final score indicated. Even saying what I did about the Ravens they deserve to be ranked ahead of the Patriots because they beat them.

I've said this once and I'll say it again there is no pleasing some Patriots fans. They are the number one offense in the NFL and it's not even close, the Broncos have scored 301 points the Patriots have scored 57 more than that. The defense has the potential to improve with Talib in the fold.

I just don't get the negativity some Patriots fans have towards their team. I'm not saying they're the best but they have just as good of a shot as anybody does in the AFC to get to New Orleans in February.

Should the Steelers feel good or bad about losing at home to the Ravens, who were without the best defensive player in history, one of the best cornerbacks in the league, the second best cornerback on the team, and both starting DTs?

Oh, and since 2009, here's the Flacco vs. Roethlisberger comparison:

Flacco vs. Steelers (7 games): 138/236 (58.5%), 232 yds/game, 10TDs, 3 INTs , 88.5 QB Rating

Roethlisberger vs. Ravens (5 games): 100/181 (55.2%), 269 yds/game, 6 TDs, 6 INTs, 77.4 QB Rating

Yes the niners got beat up at MIN and got killed by the Giants and also tied to the Rams but this is the NFL and even the best of em lose or have off days (texans/falcons) but when they meet bad teams they absolutely destroy them. When they're playing at their best I believe no team can beat them. Still the best defense in the league (1st in points allowed) have allowed 7 points or less in 5 of their wins. Have 3 (or 4?) shut outs. When it's all said and done the niners will be the best team in the league and will have the Lombardi trophy. They should of won it last year. And to all of you that thought that they were a fluke last year and said they would come back to earth this year with a record of 9-7 or 8-8, don't look now but they are here to stay for years to come. Keep on hating ppl. Niners are back! No Cinderella story by the bay. Bring on the red hot Saints!!

Oh...And the Ravens, let's be honest- beat a Byron, not the Steelers..
They did not beat Ben. They beat a dude who winced after he ran untouched for a 30 yard TD.
Is that really a measure of how good the Ravens are or a measure of a Steeler team in need of their leader to get healthy?

Hate ridiculous logic. Head to Head matters.
Also, we are in the NFL. All if takes for a good team to get beat by a "bad" one is focus or the lesser team playing with nothing to lose.
That said, a win is a win. Schaub 527 yrds passing, AJ 327 yrds receiving. In the end, our D made a crucial stop and 2 plays later AJ caught a screen and took it to the house.

Phins fans can attest to this I bet:
When has Chad Henne ever played like Joe Montana? Texans knocked Gabbert out, worst possible deal. It was like the second coming of Frank Reich, Buffalo circa 1992. The dude came in and played the BEST game he ever has as a pro.
Texans won, just like the did when they clowned Baltimore.
