Ravens remaining schedule:
At Chargers
Home Steelers
At Washington
Home Broncos
Home Giants
At Bengals
Raven fans better watch their pie holes, they will be fortunate to go three and three. Everyone knows how hard it is to travel to the West Coast and win let alone against a Charger team fighting for their jobs, Steelers could have Ben back, RGII torched Jerry's boys, next up and all I need to say is Peyton, then his little brother and then the final against the all of a sudden not too bungling Bungles. Fortunate to go three and three without a defense against those teams! So much for "owning" the AFCN! HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

With regard to the Terrible Towel incident and Ray Rice:

I like Rice. I am a die hard Steelers fan and have been for over 35yrs...

I admire and accept his apology and encourage the class he has displayed in apologizing and his appreciation of this great rivalry. I hate the Raisins! But, I love the rivalry. I cannot be angry at the understanding involved in how and why he acquired the Terrible Towel.

If they had a Purple Towel...who KNOWS what we would do to theirs lol.

Steelers have YET to have ONE single game with ALL of their starters.
We lost that game to the Ravens without allowing a TD! Our mistake came on special teams; although our offense sputtered after Leftwich scored the initial touchdown and injured his fat self by falling down in the endzone lol.

We win when we need to.

That's fair ,then only compare the last 16 years including post-season - and the Ravens still have inferior results. Now, all you have to cling to are the regular season wins. Surely if the Ravens are as mighty as you speak and that much superior to the Steelers, the Ravens would actually have consistent success in the las 16 post season results to speak of - but they don't.
Last Sunday the Ravens dodged a bullet and they know it. They won't be so lucky next time, and they know it. Enjoy the short lived win.

Somebody needs to go back to school to study-up on math, pro football history, OR BOTH. Hahahaaa!

The only reason the over-hyped and over-rated Ravens beat the Steelers was due to injuries and a fluke punt return, and every Raven fan knows that. Every Raven fan knows the Steelers are the better team. When the games count in the playoffs, the Ravens will fold like they usually do. Right now, all they can hope for is Ben and Troy won't be able to play against them in a couple weeks. Maybe they will have a chance to squeak by again in a non-playoff game.

When will the Ravens skip out of town in the middle of the night again, like they did when they were the Browns?

Steelers fans: please stop comparing your tenure in the NFL to the ravens who have only existed for 16 years now. If you want to take ALL of baltimores SBs into account it’s a completely different ball game.

Your kidding right? Do you mean the 2 NFL Championships the COLTS won in 1958 & 1959 and the single Super Bowl win in 1970. So counting the 2000 Ravens SB win that makes 4 championships total. Are you going to count the Colts wins? I thought everyone in Baltimore diowned the Colts when they moved with their colors and titles to Indy?

Steelers fans: please stop comparing your tenure in the NFL to the ravens who have only existed for 16 years now. If you want to take ALL of baltimores SBs into account it’s a completely different ball game. Additionally I’d like to point out the ravens have come into ketchup field and beat the steelers 3 times in a row now. One more… Why is it that no matter how many times we beat you, your only response is “that game doesn’t matter but next time does and we will win”?

WOW!!! The whole 3 Super Bowls compared to the 8 the Steelers have appeared in.
Yeah,Steeler Nation are shaking in their shoes at your whole 3 Super Bowl appearances.
Come back when you appear in 8 and winning 6.
Raven fans are THE most delusional for having won ONE Super Bowl 12 years ago.
And the Steelers have never had to relocate.

The Steelers mistakes cost them the game. The encouraging thing for Steelers fans is this, the Steelers clearly are the better defense. The job the corners did on boldin and smith was understated. Ray Rice was very quiet. The defense is beginning to look the Steeler defense.
On offense they missed Brown. Brown makes big catches that the other Steelers targets just couldn't make, add to that Burress and Heath in the red zone makes this team dangerous. This division race isn't over, Baltimore clearly has danger games with the Manning brothers, if Roethlisberger plays next week the Steelers will win that game and the division.

"Ben Roethlisberger didn’t practice due to a right shoulder injury (curiously, the team has yet to officially list the dislocated rib that he claims could puncture his aorta)"

First of all, yes, he did claim that. Just like his doctors have claimed that.

Second of all, Tomlin said in either the trib or the PG that the shoulder/rib injury are the exact same injury. Im too lazy to quote and source it, however.

The Browns should be favored in the game. Seriously, their defense is far underrated, going up against a third string QB, mediocre offensive line, and WR of the street, and another one that is busted up. This will be a game of defenses to say the least. You have to ask yourself, is the 1rst string Browns Offense better than the rag tag offense, Pittsburgh is putting out there.

or maybe a brown just really wants to play so our 3rd string 37 yr old QB has a full arsenal.

you really think the 2011 Team MVP is looking over his shoulder at Plaxico Burress?

First DeCastro and now Brown, then Ben. Steelers are gonna get healthy at the right time. Division champs or not, they will be a very tough out in the playoffs. Go ahead Ratbirds, take the division. Wild card teams winning Super Bowls is a popular tune. Steelers have done it before.

Steelers had started the season with only 4 WRs but had 4 RBs...not counting Chris Rainey who was seen as a return/gadget guy.

With the release of Baron Batch and the Steelers down to 3RBs, I can see Plax sticking as the 5th WR if everyone else gets/stays healthy. Just having Plax in the red zone could help.

Ben was sans the sling today...next week at Baltimore looks more realistic. Steelers beat a rookie QB this week like they always do (Troy Smith was the lone exception with the stars like Ben sitting out the last game with a bye clinched) and another shaky Flacco road performance by the Ravens in SD and we could be looking at a battle for 1st place again next week.

Hope Mrs Ben has the baby this week.
