Crennel says Quinn his starter this week

In a move that should surprise no one and fix nothing, the Chiefs are going to start Brady Quinn at quarterback this week against the Broncos.

Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel announced the move today, via Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star.

This one was pointed Quinn’s direction anyway, after he replaced Matt Cassel at halftime of last week’s loss to the Bengals, a game he didn’t start because he was cleared from a concussion late in the week.

On Monday, Crennel said the Chiefs had to be perfect to beat the Broncos saying: “That’s the only way we have a chance.”

No pressure, Brady.

Coming from the Broncos, Brady should have a good idea of how to attack the Denver Defense. I could see the Chiefs really racking up a big win here…….Well it was fun to type that anyway. Crennel you better have all 3 QBs active or by the time Vons done, KC Wolf may be playing.

Does this mean Derek Anderson is unavailable to start?

Broncos are gonna make the chiefs one dimensional passing, Quinn will have multiple picks, broncos cruise with the win in arrowhead. I pity a fool to think different

Somehow making KC in 2012 more like Cleveland in 2008 doesn’t seem like the solution.

The Chiefs and Raiders are so bad that it’s not even fun to pick on them anymore.

Insanity is often defined as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Based on that definition, Romeo Crennel is most definitely insane. By supporting Crennel, Scott Pioli is proving himself insane. And by supporting the current Chiefs in any way, the good fans of Kansas City are…

I dont get it!!!!! Let the kid start, see what he has so we can get rid of him too along with Brady and Cassel if he’s the same as they are or worst at the end of the season. Hell just interchange Javier and Dexter at QB the rest of the season at least it’ll be fun to watch… Nevermind their never fun to watch!

Why don’t they trade for Flynn, kaep, foles, tebow?? Or sign McNabb, vyoung, jamarcus russell, Ryan leaf?? Any things better than what they have now!

I want stanzi in there to evaluate him. If he sucks too we can take all the trash out at once! Why let any stink up the next year? Then again, it is silver spoon who runs the show now.

Denver will get 7-8 sacks and 3-4 turnovers

As a Denver fan I truly lament the fact that Orton had not been retained for this matchup. Justice has not been served here.
