Machine? Last time I heard anyone in sports referring to an athlete as a “Machine” was Chic Anderson at the Belmont Stakes in 1973 about Secretariat.

Leave it to Rex Ryan to compare Tom Brady to a horse!

Gee how come the Colts went 2-14 without Manning? Maybe because they were throwing games in order to get the next Brady/Manning?

But I agree with those who defend Peyton when Brady is referred to as a “once in a generation” player. Despite the fact he only won one Super Bowl whereas Brady brought his team to five, it’s rediculous not give Manning credit for being one of the all time greats as well

Come on man. I can understand you not liking Brady because he doesn’t play for your team but only a fool would say he isn’t one of the best ever.

I don’t like Peyton but it would be ridiculous to say he isn’t great.

The schedule was much easier. That was the year that the Patriots went 11-5 and DID NOT make the playoffs because the Dolphins won the division (11-5) after going 1-15 the year prior. If Brady played that year they would likely have been better than 11-5.

That the Colts were 2-14 last year related to how bad Curtis Painter is a bit to suck for luck. Using that to prove a point that Peyton Manning is better than Tom Brady is weak. If you want to use last year as an example, that works the other way. Tom Brady brought a team with a horrible defense to the Super Bowl. This year’s defense isn’t much better. Manning has been great. But Brady has had bigger moments in the NFL.

RR never tweaked BB, but he would usually twist the knife a bit to TB before games because he would talk about P Manning and how awesome he is and how he’s the best blah blah blah. Maybe he decided that tweaking TB like that is not a good thing, hence the whole”paassionate/competitive” comment.
As a Pats fan though, I think that this nicey nice version of RR is making me nervous. LOL

There to familiar with each other sense its a division rivalry. Good players are more important then schemes win it comes to winning and loosing.

Stuff like that gets the message across but it is tough to read. They’re/there/their, lose/loose, to/ too/two, since/sense/cents, then/than and now apparently roll/role. C’mon guys; do they not teach this stuff in third grade anymore?
