The Seattle Seahawks promoted wide receiver Charly Martin from the practice squad to the active roster to take the place of safety Winston Guy.
Guy was suspended four games on Tuesday for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
Martin spent the first nine weeks on the active roster for Seattle before being released to make way for the activation of cornerback Walter Thurmond off the physically unable to perform list. He was then signed to the practice squad upon clearing waivers.
For the season, Martin has played in four games for Seattle and recorded four catches for 42 yards and a tackle on special teams.
Seattle also signed wide receiver Corbin Louks to the practice squad to replace Martin.
