So glad that Elway went against the Broncos faithful (as stated most of us wanted Dareus) for his first pick because Von Miller reminded him of the defender he feared most Derrick Thomas.

Both Smith and Miller are great players, both teams are happy with who they have and I’m sure 30 other teams would take either one in a second if they had the chance!

Both Miller and Smith are great players. They can rush the passer and stop the run. Anyone who calls either overrated, hasn’t watched them play. And to think Blaine Gabbert was available when each of these teams picked (sorry for the unnecessary shot)

Both Miller and Smith are studs… and Aldon Smith has 29 sacks in his first 26 which is the record… Unless Von breaks that this weekend.

people calling aldon smith 1 trick pony haven’t seen the games… he is playing every down and he has bag full of tricks… he can rush outside, inside, bull rush the tackle… heck he can even make a smith sandwich…

Bravo to Von Miller.

And shame on the people who say Aldon’s a one trick pony. It’s hard to get tackles for a loss, when teams are in pass-only mode. PLUS, this is Aldon Smith’s first year as a starter. He came off the bench last year behind Parys Haralson

Both are excellent. Really, it’s like arguing Calvin Johnson vs Andre Johnson vs Fitz. Both are great players for their team. That draft class will go down in history

The only thing that’s more impressive is that in every interview all Von talks about is how he has much more to improve on.

Dude isn’t a one-trick pony. He’s a force in the run game as well.

As a 9ers fan I was very mad when Von was drafted before the 9ers could get him, but so glad that Balke and Harbaugh know their stuff and got Aldon Smith instead. Both of these guys are just flat out amazing to watch.
