Cowboys won’t go away, cut gap to 35-28

Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III finally looked human, and Tony Romo looks like Tony Romo, and the Cowboys are suddenly, amazingly back in this one.

Griffin’s first interception gave the Cowboys a chance to get within a score, as they took over deep in Redskins territory and cut it to 35-28 with more than half the fourth quarter to go.

Romo threw three touchdowns to balance his two picks, including an 85-yarder to Dez Bryant and a fourth-down conversion for a score, and as they have so many times, they’ve fought their way back into this one with 8:18 left.
