Belichick has no business pulling Brady until the opponent pulls their starting QB. When your opponent capitulates, that’s when you take your foot off the gas.

Watching this football game tonight reminds me why I dislike the Patriots so much. Bill Belichick and his crew are classless.

Up 35-12 in the 4th Q. Running Reverses. Having Welker return punts. Brady QB sneaking for 1st downs and into the end zone. Every starter still in the game. And this is FAR from the 1st time they’ve pulled this crap.

I don’t say this happily, but if the Pats lose an important player to injury in garbage time, they’d deserve it.

That’s what happens when MEN play football, lot little boys. I know you hate the Patriots because they won’t make the game more easy for their poorly-coached and ill-prepared opponents. But this isn’t some children’s birthday game.

It’s called 60 minutes of football. Injuries are going to happen anyway. What time do you designate to stop playing to win? 30 points? Three quarters? Is there a mercy rule you want to create? What and when is the arbitrary time that you stop coaching your team to play their asses off?

I’m glad the Patriots play mentally tough football. Part of that is staying focused and giving 100% for 60 minutes. I don’t expect haters to understand that, but part of the reason this team wins the close ones is because of the mental attitute they take EVERY sunday, the close ones (they are always focused), the ones they lose (when was the last time the Pats got blown out? They don’t – because they don’t give up – mental toughness), and the games the win big.

Again, I don’t expect those who seem to want the pussification of the NFL to include some unwritten mercy rule to understand.

Patriots starters do get injured… including potential Hall of Famers like Mankins and Gronk and they still win. Doesn’t that tell you anything?

Mental Toughness. Play 60.

Obviously, fumbles and interceptions killed The Jets. I give them credit for acting professionally and for playing a much better second half. There were some tremendously hard hits in this game, for sure. Both teams could be a bit beat-up after this donneybrook. Don’t laugh at the Jets too much; your team could be the next sheep that gets led to slaughter. Fear The Pats!

The outcome of the game went as expected. The Patriots are on their good luck streak until the Superbowl comes. The Jets are in a tailspin that they won’t pull out of until its too late to matter.
The rest of the East, barring a win out is pretty much done too. Buffalo would have to win out and will depend on help from others to get a wild card shot. Miami would have to have the same results as Buffalo, again with luck in order to catch a wild card. The AFC East went the same direction as usual, Patriots on top, with NY, Buffalo and Miami trailing afar in no particular order. Repeat, repeat, repeat, doesn’t look as if it will change any time soon either.

When last year it was “oh they will go 1 and done again” because that was the norm according to the haters even though it only happened 2 times in 11 years.

It’s not “good luck” they win because they are good.

I sincerely Mike Greenberg doesn’t try to kill 1/2 a week on his show talking about how his beta-personality has to deal with this epic Jets drubbing.

Stop talking about the Jets. They suck and their storylines are not that interesting.

There are so many teams that will make the playoffs or have a good chance that are fun to hear about.

This year it’s almost like Greeny forgot Mike and Mike was broadcast nationwide on TV and Radio.

Brady was still in the game with a 30-plus point lead late in the 4th quarter. It must be absolute hell to be his backup, knowing you’ll never see the field unless someone takes a shot at Mr. Bundchen’s knees–which may happen if Belichick keeps running up the score.

Don’t forget the Ravens beat the Triots 31 to 30 in ole Balmer and Bilicheck got fined for grabbing the ref….we have the tie break over them if it comes down to that.

I remember when Pete Carroll said Sanchez shouldn’t leave USC for the NFL. At the time I thought he was just upset about losing his QB, not that Sanchez wasn’t ready.

Now I realize he may have been right.

Great win for Pats. I’m still concerned about our D, though……..

P.S. That was some BS in the Detriot/Texans game….if the replacement refs were still in, they’d be crucified for allowing that TD.

Keep in mind – three losses by a total of what, four points and in games that were refereed by Pop Warner refs? Patriots should be 10 and 1.
