Stop the presses, RG3 doing amazing things

Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is putting on a clinic, leading his team to a dominant 28-3 halftime lead at Dallas.

He’s continuing a run of near-perfect football going back to last week’s thrashing of the Eagles. Over his last six quarters of football, Griffin is 25-of-29 passing for 408 yards, with seven touchdowns and no interceptions. That translates to a 158.3 passer rating, which is, as you know, perfect.

He’s also added in 93 yards rushing during that span, but his passing accuracy is amazing. His touchdown pass to Santana Moss just before halftime was thrown into a window tighter than America’s pants at the moment.

Let this be a lesson to everyone who doubts me and Redskins Nation. When we tell you Robert Griffin is the BEST QB in the NFL Today it’s because it’s TRUE. When we tell you the Washington Redskins are the best it’s because it’s TRUE!!!! Who’s laughing now?!

    Over.
    Board.
Setting this guy up for a Cam Newton fall.
You keep telling him he is the greatest player in history, he’s going to start believing it.
(Hint – he’s not the best player in NFL history, he has yet to achieve a +500 record yet)
    CHILL

6 quarters of 158.3 has gotta be some type of record!!! If RG3’s last name was Luck we’d already know how rare that is by now!!! Lol Im just sayin……

Peytonsneck and the other Colts fans – Luck still better than RG3 just cause the Colts are 6-4?? lol

I thought things were supposed to get difficult once RG3 got into the NFC East part of the schedule.

    Not so much, huh.

Stop the presses. RG3 looks human and eli is still the best qb in the division and most under appreciated player in football

    Johnny Football >>>> RG3

  16. csilojohnson says: Nov 22, 2012 8:13 PM

He is schooling everyone he plays.
    Except LeBeau of course.

5-6 with our two best d players and our 2-3rd best offensive players out. 18 million cap hit on the day before free agency didn’t help much either!

  18. meatheadsmakemelaugh says: Nov 22, 2012 8:34 PM

The redskins are a better team than the cowboys all around before you get to the QB position. Romo is the only reason the cowboys are in any of these games. Their offensive line is a joke, the only offensive weapon they have is Whitten, other players don’t know the routes or the snap count, it’s laughable. Their coach doesn’t even know what is going on, I mean. A QB sneak on 1 & 10, what a mess.

Saying RG3 is the whole team for the redskins is a joke and an insult to the team. They have a great running game, good enough oline, Good defense (better when they some players back). They run an option based offensive that will fail soon enough.

If you really want to see a team being carried on a QB shoulders look at the Colts. Has taken a team with terrible personal and made them a possible playoff team.

Stop comparing him to cam, cam in his wildest dreams is nothing close to rg3

Luck has done a great job with the Colts but face it, he was supposed to be the most pro ready qb ever. Griffin was almost as highly hyped, but was considered a much bigger risk/reward due to the type offense he played in in college. It goes to show that RGIII has everything it takes to be a great NFL qb: talent, intelligence and most importantly, the desire to get better every week.

Luck and Griffin are going to end up being another Manning/Brady argument and we the fans of both teams, are going to be happy for the guy we got. What most impresses me about Griffin is his playfakes. Man does he sell it… Future’s bright in D.C. between the Skins and Nats.

get back to me when he does more than his one read pass attack

get back to me when he does more than his one read pass attack

    ===============================

Get back to me when you actually offer up a opinion that actually has substance. If you’ve ever watched him play for the Skins, you’d see that he’s far more competent than that. I’m not saying he’s the best in the league or even close yet, but he’s clearly exceeded expectations and has a much better grasp of the pro game than anyone could have dreamed. That is a fact.

I really can’t see Griffin turning into a Cam Newton either, he just works too hard and is too smart to get complacent and I think it’s fair to say that Cam got complacent.
