APNot that it’s a huge surprise, considering Michael Vick’s relative lack of progress after his concussion, but the Eagles have apparently declared a decision.
According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, citing a league source, quarterback Nick Foles will start Monday night against the Panthers.
Foles took all the repetitions in practice Wednesday, when coach Andy Reid said Vick was “getting close to Phase 2” of the concussion protocol which involves working out.
McLane also found a source on Thanksgiving who said running back LeSean McCoy’s headaches were subsiding. If he can’t play Monday, rookie Bryce Brown will start.

They’re better off getting Foles the game reps right now anyway. It’s highly doubtful that Vick will still be on the team next year, so they’d better start taking a good look at Foles now to see if he can be a franchise QB.
I don’t understand how Bryce brown gets drafted after he does absolutely nothing in college but plenty of productive players don’t even get a chance.
