For all you people screaming to the masses that Roethlisberger should be in jail and you wish he never comes back , you show your ignorance every time you open your mouth . First off , Ben made mistakes in his life like WE ALL HAVE . However , he deserves the chance to learn from them and move on with his life . So far , hes done that . He went back to college finished his degree , got married and now has his first child . Hes on the right path . Finally , for all you people screaming you hope he never comes back , I hate to break it to you , but hes the best player on your football team . Bottom line , youre an 8 an 8 football team without him .

The ground and pound will do in the Ravens in Baltimore. Ray Rice will enjoy another dismal afternoon but will fumble at least once.
There is no vertical passing against the Steelers pass defense. Double team Boldin this time and they have no offense whatsoever.

Ravens will be one and done. They seem to
have regressed a little, but to their credit
they can run up the score against hapless opponents, none of which they will see in the playoffs.

The Steelers beat the Browns on Jan 1, 2012. in Cleveland last season, 13-9. Roethlisberger played but was ineffective.
He completed 23 of 40 passes for 221 yards and zero TD passes. In Roethlisberger’s two outings against the Browns last season, the Steelers’ 22nd-ranked scoring offense scored a combined 27 points. The Browns, meanwhile, scored 12 total points in two games.
Defense, defense, defense.
That’s pretty much how it’s been the past nine seasons in Pittsburgh.

Tomlin did this very thing last year because they got swept by the Ravens and were trying to make up ground. I think the final was 16-10 or something like that.Roethlisberger was clearly injured but they put him out there anyway.

There’s no way you risk playing Roethlisberger vs. Cleveland. The Steelers will just have to pick up their game in other areas. If the special teams don’t goof up, they beat the Ravens with Leftwich.

Cleveland does have a shot to win w/ Batch in there. Especially if they get kick return TDs. I for one am fascinated to see what Burress has left in the tank.

Roethlisberger is injury prone, evident by his never having played an entire 16-game regular season, and he isn’t getting any younger. Time for him and the Rooneys to part company. Trade him while there’s still some interest.

Tough season. I’d be drafting a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round next year if I were Tomlin; Big Ben isn’t going to be there forever and it’s possible both Batch and Leftwich will be retired next year as well.

Wow, another classic example of an unobjective, lazy reporter inventing a story. “Despite some hints that perhaps the Steelers would bring quarterback Ben Roethlisberger back on Sunday after missing a game with a shoulder/rib injury, Roethlisberger once again has been scratched.”

There were no “hints” at all. Nada. Zip. Sorry, just because Ben showed up at practice not wearing an arm sling and not wincing in pain, that never meant anything towards coming back on Sunday.

And Polamalu practiced with the team on Friday. That is why he was upgraded from “out” to “doubtful”.

I thought for sure he was out for the year the way he was holding his arm after he hit the ground, as if he fractured his collar bone. Given what I read about the injury I still think he’ll probably miss 3 more games. Of course I only play a doctor in short films
