It was an absolutely horrible call (the childish comments of flboyindallas are inaccurate), but I doubt it was the reason we lost the game. Given the way things were going, I suspect we would have still found a way to botch it.

But it was a horrible call, just like the Denver punt return for a TD, the Dallas “timeout” 4 seconds after a play started, the imaginary horsecollar tackle in the same game, and the DeAngelo TD in the Redskins game.

There sure have been a lot of head-scratching calls this year…

The most embarrassing thing about the call was that the receiver actually dropped the ball after being hit, but the play for some unknown reason was not overturned. If he had completed the catch, the receiver was not defenseless, therefore there really isn’t any basis for the penalty. Oh wait, we are in the Goodell Touch Football League.

Are u serious what has this game become? This is why these men should get paid millions.
And on the issue of Brady, he falls or even coughs too hard its a penalty. Hell they changed a rule for him but when it happened to other QBs earlier nothing. And anytime Brady yells for a yellow flag he gets one.

NFL you are way out of bounds here! First of all, it should not have been flagged, but now you throw your BS fine in the mix. How about next year, we eliminate tackling and place flags on players hips. Your fining system is garbage!

Those idiots saying it was a bad call need to watch it again. A forearm shiver to the head of a receiver who’s coming down with the ball is a penalty all day every day. It had nothing whatsoever to do with his shoulder. Panthers fans are just dumb homers who are mad their team is one of the worst in football. Get over it and get some objectivity…maybe you’ll gain a little respect. Good luck.

You watching a fantasy channel or something? Brady yells no more than any other QB and doesn’t fold like a cheap table. All his home games are on artificial surface and most other stadiums use the same, so there isn’t anything to brush off.

Thomas Davis the Panthers LB was fined the league has gotten completely out of control. Clearly it was a shoulder to shoulder hit that was only flagged after the WR did some acting secondly fining people for not controlling physics is ridiculous. A bunch of old men sitting around watching frame by frame tape thinking its just as easy to control two bodies one not being your own just as easily as their fat little fingers control the remote

Football fans need to take a close look at other sports with garbage Commissioners like the NBA and NHL. Unfortunately, the NFL is quickly falling down the same path which will eventually lead to fan apathy.

It wasn’t until the latest rule changes that we’ve seen WRs lay down on the ground as if they’ve been shot whenever they get hit. I bet they’re being coached to do this.

Davis is right, WR laying on the turf motionless = automatic flag. Garbage.
