Colts cheerleader to shave her head for leukemia research

megancolt

Several players on the Colts have shaved their heads in support of head coach Chuck Pagano, who is undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia. Now a Colts cheerleader is getting in on the act.

The cheerleader, whom the Colts have identified only as Megan M., announced on November 11 that she was raising money for leukemia research, and she said that if fans donated a total of at least $10,000 by the Colts’ November 25 game, she would shave her head. As it turned out, fans have already donated $22,670. So during the third quarter on Sunday against the Bills, the Colts’ mascot, Blue, will shave Megan’s head. (And perhaps yell, “She’s bald!”)

The Colts have now raised more than $250,000 for leukemia research through donations and sales of CHUCKSTRONG shirts and wristbands.
