APHalf of the six Bears starters who were injured on Sunday have ankle injuries.
Joining running back Matt Forte and cornerback Charles Tillman is linebacker Lance Briggs. Per a league source, the walking boot with which Briggs was spotted walking after Sunday’s win over the Vikings is aimed at protecting an ankle injury.
The other three injured Bears are receiver Devin Hester (concussion), guard Lance Louis (knee), and guard Chris Spencer (knee).
The Bears host the Seahawks next week before a return engagement with the Vikings in 14 days.

The Vikings create a delusion in opposing teams’ mindsets’ that they are good.
The bears got a bailout today from their collapse on Monday. The Vikings are essentially no different than a federal bailout. Sure, it feels good for a week, but then the real teams come and knock you back down further into a depression.
Hope none of them are gone long.

And the Bears seasonal slide begins….now.
Forte will be back and Briggs will be back. Lance Lewis is a big loss, though.
Peanut will be fine. That’s the best we can hope for in light of Louis’ injury. That redneck cost Lance a lot of money since he’s a free agent after the season.
