Lance Briggs is injured, too

And now there are six.

The list of injured Bears starters has expanded by one; Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports that linebacker Lance Briggs left Soldier Field with a walking boot on his right foot.

Unless it was a bizarre fashion statement, it means that Briggs has an injured foot or ankle.

He joins running back Matt Forte (ankle), receiver Devin Hester (concussion), cornerback Charles Tillman (ankle), guard Lance Louis (knee), and guard Chris Spencer (knee) as the banged-up Bears.

Hope none of the injuries are too serious, although I’m worried about the severity of the one to Louis…And will all you Packer fans now shut up about all the injuries you’ve won in spite of?

In a way I am sort of pleased. It doesn’t sound as if any of the injuries are season ending and the adversity is really pulling this team together. I think the chemistry building is worth some minor injuries–and I hope like hell that they are all just minor.

Don’t want to look ahead, but if San Gran loses today and the Pack tonight, and a good chance both teams will, Bears are right back in the thick of things.

Can’t wait for the Pack at Solider Field in 3 weeks.

    Bears !!!!!

No not until next week when we see you play without your players when the game isn’t already in hand when they are out.

    Black and Blue division game…yeah.

Yuck. I don’t like this to happen to any team. I respect the Bears because they play hard and clean. When it’s Bears Week, however, I always hope for a 59-3 win for the Packers.

The Lions, however, could have half of their team on IR and would enjoy a beatdown by whoever is playing them.

Oh wow. You mean you lost some starters for the balance of a game you were already winning by 3 scores in the fourth quarter? Oh, the humanity! Man, talk about facing adversity.

Not even a Packers fans, but they have lost several starters for multiple games (some for the season), and yes, they have won in spite of it. Now let’s see if the Bears can win if they lose all 6 of these players for multiple games.

Fair enough…And my apologies to the majority of Packer fans on here, didn’t mean to sound like ‘all’ of you have been playing the ‘We’re winning with injuries, so therefore we’re better than you!’ card.
