Getty ImagesWhat quarterback controversy?
Cardinals rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley just led a 15-play, 91-yard touchdown drive, to give his side a 7-0 lead over the Rams.
Running back Beanie Wells (in his first game back after being activated from injured reserve with turf toe) scored from 1 yard out for the points. But Lindley was 7-for-8 for 80 yards passing on his first drive as the starter, looking calm and collected.
The sixth-rounder from San Diego State doesn’t have a high bar to clear for a team that’s lacked competent quarterback play this year, with Kevin Kolb and John Skelton taking turns struggling. It’s early, but it’s reason for hope.

Kolb was 3-1 as a starter, and engineered the game winning drive in week 1 after Skelton was injured. I’m not sure that qualifies as struggling…
Lindley looks good so far; Fitz had 3 catches for 31 yards on the first drive. That two more catches and 20 more yards than last week.
Kevin Kolb is better than Ryan Lindley is. Just look at there records. Then decide. But seriously, where’s the offensive line?
He threw 4 ints! Kevin Kolb where are you!!!!
I hate to say it, but we need Skelton.
