It’s awful to see rigged games. Ravens fans try to defend yourselves all you want but you didn’t deserve squat. I see the fans are just as trashy as your players are… Sick.

Complain about the refs all you want, but that was 100% Rice making something out of nothing. I’ve got news for you, if you have to quibble about whether a runner got 28 or 29 yards on a 4th down check-down, you’ve already lost the argument. The Chargers D had no business letting him even get that close. The Ratbirds did what they needed to do to win, and the Chargers found yet another way to lose. Give credit where it’s due.

I’m not sure why you assumed I was a steelers fan, other than I compared boldins hit to Hines ward? I’m not a steelers fan, but I do live in an area where they play the steelers games on TV, so yes I do see them a lot, but I’m not a fan. I’m a football fan, and I read all of the stories on here, and when I see a article on a game I’ve seen, than I comment. I saw the rice play, and I posted my observations on his knee, his height, and where they spotted the ball.

In my opinion the steelers and ravens teams are very much alike, as are their fans. Fans of both teams it seems hate the other for the exact same plays their own players make. Ward, boldin, pollard, Clark, Lewis, Harrison etc.

On offense Marshall Yanda was called for a hold that didn’t happen. That stalled a Ravens drive when they were in field goal range.

You didn’t see the Ravens making excuses. They found a way to win, like they always do. What’s the matter. You can’t troll on Browns forums tonight?! Did they embarrass you that bad?

Not a chargers fan, so no dog in this fight, however, that spot was awful. Ray rice is listed at 5’8″ tall. His knee hit just prior to the 35 yard line, and his torso was bent, as was the arm holding the ball. In other words ball was chest high. So you have to figure from the ground to rays knees is at least 2 feet, that leaves 3’8 inches to the top of his head. Now factor in the ball as at shoulder level, the ball at best would have been 3 feet from the 35 yard line, that means 34 max. The spot was 33 1/2 yard line. Awful spot. Not to mention the refs allowed the flags to be moved prior to measurement, so how can the flags be repotted to their original position?

As for the boldin block, if that’s Hines ward of the steelers, and he makes that same block, 100 ravens fans are posting on here what a cheap shot, illegal block it was.

But give the ravens their due, the refs blew two calls, and the ravens took advantage of it.

The refs took forever to make the call, and then didn’t even come close to getting the ball in the right spot. They couldn’t even describe where they were putting the ball when they specifically stated it would be at the half yard line and that wasn’t even accurate either.

The league is a joke when it comes to officiating. They took too long, got the ball spotted in the wrong spot, declared a different spot than where they did spot it, and then had a measuring stick snafu. It was really sloppy work as part of also a sloppy system that does not work well.

Not a ravens or charger fan, so it really doesn’t matter to me. But those of you trying to defend that spot that gave the ravens an extra yard for a 1st down are just blind or you are trying to talk yourself into it. His knee was down short of the 35, the ball was just over the 35 at about the 34 and 3/4 mark. They actually spotted it 2 yards wrong initially, then missed it again on the replay. Amazing how the ball could be put where it was after replay. Chargers got robbed, ravens lost and everyone that really looks at the replay would agree. I hate to see a team lose like that.

When you think about it, this play sums up everything about Ravens football:

1. Flacco stands around and does nothing

2. Rice does all the work

3. Ravens fans actually think they’ve witnessed greatness

If Ravens fans had either a clue or common sense, they’d be roasting Flacco right now for getting away with dumping off on 4th and 29.

That’s right the ravens are the refs favored team, you know the ravens, the team with the 7th most penalties in the NFL.

It is nice to be so good the only excuse opponents have is “it was the refs” it couldn’t be the qb who has the most wins EVER to start a career. No, that would be logical thinking.

Everyone crying about the refs being for the Ravens aren’t paying attention. They’re one of the most penalized teams in the league. The real truth of the game is that Baltimore’s beaten,battered defense manned up and held Rivers to 13 on his own field. Refs didn’t do that.
