Good for the Eagles to clean house and get rid of the people who they think aren’t adding value. But more importantly they need to figure out how to make the right hires the next time so they don’t repeat the same mistake and have to fire the next team of executives and coaches/managers.

The timing is interesting on this. I’m surprised they didn’t wait until AFTER tonight’s game. Had they waited until after the Eagles get slaughtered by the 2-8 Panthers tonight, they could have fired this McDermott guy on Tuesday and pretended they were addressing the problem. Now, they’re going to have to fire someone else on Tuesday.

Dark days for my Eagles are imminent…And I hope our stay in the cellar of the NFL isn’t a lengthy one. Young QBs are ushering in a new era in the NFL, and Philly needs to employ a signal-caller that can outsmart defenses, anticipate recievers, and show poise in the pocket. Leaders must be acquired and draft picks can no longer be squandered.

The monotony of Reid and Co is driving many of us Philly fans absolutely bonkers. This city desperately needs a bright coaching mind to step in. The lack of effort is embarrassing this season, and a coach like Jon Gruden could help to instill some fiery competitiveness and change the culture of this organization.

If only B-dawk were here….
