you should go check the Giants winning percentage the week after a bye. More times that not, the Giants are terrible the week after a bye. not to mention that, historically, they don’t play well on Sunday nights and they haven’t been great at home in the new stadium

——————————————————————————————————————————————————— funny? all i have been reading are comment’s from packers fans congratulating the giants and saying lets get back to work for the vikings? you know every team has knucklehead fans, and when a team tends to win a superbowl they get some added bandwagon fans. get over yourself, the giants won that game because they played harder, and were the better team last night.

But got to get up and go to work for next week.

And, If anyone actually thinks the players care about wins more than they do paychecks…you’re nuts.. lol. Winning leads to bigger contracts in skill type positions. They care about wins to that extent only. The players care far less about the team than the fans do. If that isnt true, why do a lot of these big named cats get offered say.. 20 million to stay, and take 20.5 million to go somewhere else?

Green Bay better hope that, if they are in come playoff time, the Giants are on the other end of the Bracket and that the Giants get eliminated before Green Bay does. Green Bay can beat anyone in the NFC, except New York.

My hat’s off to Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy admitting they were rightfully outplayed last night. They both could have cited numerous excuses, but stood up like real men accepting the outcome.

Not sure where you heard Rodgers say that. I heard him say that they took themselves out of the gameplan, not the Giants (and the score that the Giants had dictated). But okay.

The Packers need to come to the realization that they need to play a field position game versus the Giants and keep the game close. Getting behind 2 scores and trying to play catchup via the pass plays right into their hands.

Only 1 team every year wins the Super Bowl. Explain to me why you feel they have a reason not to believe they are a good team?

So does anyone remember the 49ers getting pounded by NY back in October? That’s a distant memory now…

I remember the year GB won the super bowl, they lost to Detroit 7-3 in week 13 and Rodgers got concussed, they then proceeded to lose at New England the next week with Matt Flynn and then Rodgers came back and they ran the table to a Super Bowl title as a Wild Card…

So that being said GB probably finishes no worse than 11-5 and gets in the playoffs where anything can happen.. The last two SB champs were 10-6 and 9-7.. Just get into the dance where anything can happen.

Rodgers is right, it’s only one game. They can still turn things around, still have a month to go! Let’s use this loss as a lesson and learn from it guys!

Fortunately, there wasn’t much a rush allowing Eli Manning and company to get comfortable and pick apart a Charles Woodson-less secondary. Also minus James Shields.

Hakeem Nicks still is not at 100 percent but he’s getting back to full-strength which will only help Victor Cruz.

This was a game the Giants needed and thankfully they played their best and walked all over the Packers. I am still waiting for a ‘we beat ourselves comment.’
