Keep in mind that I’m a Bengals fan when I say this…I’ve watched the replay a bunch of times, I’m really wondering why Dalton kept running after the whistle. We can hear the whistle on replays but, but it sure didn’t look like Dalton heard it, so maybe it was harder to hear on the field than we thought. The tackle was a little hard, but Dalton looked to be running a sneak and if he’s a runner the tackle is justified.

I knew a reasonable Bengal fan would step up and say something reasonable.

1) they were able to stop the Bengals offensive for a few drives before, so to say they didn’t stop anyone is stupid

2) does that excuse the fact that those events were another display of referee incompetence?? bad calls are bad calls, it doesn’t matter if the team is garbage or not.

3) that’s 10-14 points that the referees took away, including the “clipping” call. if everything is called right, that’s possibly a 27-24 or a 27-20 game, with 7 minutes left to play. there’s a lot that can go on with that much time left…

I knew this was going to be a long season after the coaching staff was assembled. I’m surprised we won 3 games actually.

Will the next person that sees ANYBODY throw anything onto this field, point ‘em out…and get ‘em out of here – you don’t live in Cleveland, you live in Cincinnati!

For those who don’t follow the Raiders this loss wraps up another losing season, the Raiders tenth season in a row w.o posting a winning record. That streak includes seven straight seasons w. at least eleven (11) losses , an NFL record.

Secondly, I also have no issues with Whit sticking up for his QB. It’s a tone-setter for them saying “We’re not going to take sh!t from anyone”.

Lastly, it’s hilarious reading Raider fans calling Bengal fans trash. Pot meet kettle. Go shoot up a mall or something else you are good at.

Nope. The problem started when the refs blew the whistle with a ball lying on the field, just prior to it being picked up and returned for a score by the raiders..

also interesting – 3 bengals came off the bench…. none of them ejected.

It’s moot to talk about point swings. The Raiders defense couldn’t stop anyone.

This doesn’t start with Dennis Allen… This is a cultural behavior that starts from the top. This mentality has been cultivated for decades, yet that way of operating stopped working decades ago.

Mark Davis is clearly not cut out to manage so kudos to him for bringing in R.M. Problem is that his father was clearly not cut out to run the team for many years. Reggie’s got a lot of work to do to create a new culture that makes the Al Davis way of do business a thing of the past.

I’m a Broncos fan through And through , but I’m not blind to see that a good rivalry between my Broncos and the Raiders is much better when both teams are good. Sadly it’s been many years since both were good at the same time.

1. Phantom clipping call on Raiders G Mike Brisiel stalls a solid drive that would’ve been 1st down already been in FG range without the bogus call.

2. Whatever took place during and after that inadvertent whistle call. That was a fireable level of incompetence.

Also, for all the white trash Bengals fans outraged at the Raiders, at least three Bengals players left the bench, just like Tommy Kelly yet none were ejected. Just more incompetence from the men in black and white stripes.

That being said, if Whit heard the whistle then he has every right to be pissed that his QB got hit. That’s exactly the kind of thing that would bring an offense closer.
