I doubt they really took Adderall. The process that allows players confidentiality on their drug cases needs to be modified so they can’t take testosterone or heroine and then leak to the media with impunity that it was adderall or pot. I am sure when Chris ‘Bird Man’ Anderson received a sudden 1 year suspension in the NBA, that was Adderall too right? I get the idea of confidentiality but at a minimum I think the official announcement of suspensions should divide substances into ‘class A’ (hard stuff like anabolic steroids, hard drugs)and ‘class B’ (prohibited but lower stigma stuff like Adderall, pot, ephedrine) and also preferably into steroid/masking, weight loss, or recreational drug.

I believe him…he never took aderall. It’s a joke that the NFL doesn’t release the information on what these players are testing positive for. How many players in the past year have tested positive for “something” and then have come out and said it was Aderall. Aderall is the code name for steroids or any of a number of PED’s. Until the NFL steps up holds these players responsible for their actions, then steroids will continue to run rampant in the sport.

On a more serious note, if he is taking Adderall before the games, he could have a heart attack on the field. Sherman needs help, he is playing a dangerous game with that drug. It is not advisable to take “speed” then go play in an NFL game.

What is this guy thinking?

The NFL needs to make the appeal process happen THIS WEEK.

That way, the Hawks will lose their next 4 games, and no one is going to have to worry about them making the playoffs.

This way, no one will be able to say they made the playoffs because of the replacement ref’s mistake.
