What in the WORLD is it that provokes you fanatics to jabber on about such silly things? You realize (maybe you don't) that you're talking about a private, for-profit organization, right? You don't even own a single share of stock in that company, you silly little girl.

It's like me blathering on about Apple products: Apple Fan for Life, Baby! See how stupid that sounds? But, at least with Apple, I can own shares of stock, and their products can directly influence my life. But "YOUR" Raiders?
The problem with the Raiders was not keeping last year's coach, going out yet again to find some new coach and start all over again trying to build a consistent scheme. It's obvious Denise Allen was the wrong choice, his defensive scheme is worthless as is his offense.

At this point the smartest move the Raiders could make is to play for draft picks, willingly lose every remaining game in hopes of getting some good draft picks. In that regard playing Terelle Pryor would be a great idea as the Raiders can evaluate him in game conditions as to whether he's a keeper or to show him off some in hopes of getting a good trade for him.

A real shame seeing the Raiders stink year after year. I hear Gruden is looking to coach again, maybe the Raiders could be smart enough to get him back to Oakland now that he won't have to deal with Big Al.

The raiders are like a college program with atleast 3 years of cleaning before we see real results. Knapp is still cluless that his offense doesn't work. It takes time right? This is the nfl. Not for long. We all know knapp is gone after this season big reg won't let this happen any longer. Palmer is a bright spot but maybe we start to see if pryor is the new leader for the future or if he's trade bait and we draft a an in the next two years. Either way this bad football is old and needs to stop. Raider nation for life. The nation is always strong no matter hoe bad we stink.

How in the hell can someone say that TP is not an NFL QB when he has never been given a chance to play? it takes time with some of theses guys! Look at Steve Young's first year? Now a H.O.F'R...He actually reminds me of a Cam Newton except he has not had the chance or have all the skills Cam has, but i do think he could if the coaches would pull their head out and give him more then a game or two to show what skill sets need to be improved and what they have in him. If nothing, then move on with the draft. You should not be gettting paid if you cant make plays....Period!!!!! Atleast give him a shot!!!

Through the first 11 games Carson Palmer is the best player on this crappy team. I think there are no more than 6 or 7 of the 22 starters that are starters on other NFL rosters. They absolutely need to cut McFadden after the season, I know the OL is terrible but I would much rather see his $10M go into a new OG and OT and live with anyone else at RB.

I say again that it really didn’t need to be this way. Molding a team in the new image of McKenzie and Allen is one thing, but they took a decent (8-8) team turned it into one of the 2-3 worst teams in the game. Some of these changes clearly weren’t for the better and one doesn’t even need to really know much about the game to see that. Nearly everyone has underachieved in these new systems. Other than Brandon Myers I’d like to know one player that has been better this year than last? I hold all the Raider brass responsible for giving us yet another year of crappy football this year when just a little ego moderation and leaving some things alone (like the entire offense of 2011) and we’d at least be competitive every week. Why did we need to tear every, single thing down from before? For all the complaining about Al when he was alive, he never presided over football this bad in 40 years.

The 2006-07 season escapes you doesn't it?2-14 and drafting Jamarcus Russell doesn't compute?Yeah Al has presided over just asker worse teams than this years

People keep saying that Pryor was just another in a long list of mistakes by the Raiders. The fact is that #1 overall picks (like the Manning freaks) aren't always winners. Brady went 199th in the draft, Montana went 82 (behind a QB named Steve Fuller...anyone ever heard of Steve Fuller? I haven't). Steve Young's first year in the NFL was a disaster. His team went 3-16, he threw 11 TD's and 21 INT's and completed less than 55% of his passes. Success isn't about when you are taken in the draft, it's about heart, good coaching and getting a chance to play. I think Pryor has heart...let's see if he can get the other 2 elements he needs before he ages out of his skills and heart for the game.

We're already paying the kid, we already gave him a roster spot. USE him. I don't think Pryor was a bad pick up in the supplemental. With some seasoning, this kid can be a good QB. He showed promise in the pre-season. Would he win us any of the 5 remaining games this year, probably not (at least not alone), but with an offensive line that blows, you need a guy who can scramble and run the ball, in this aspect Pryor is better than Palmer.

And while we're at it, why not give the backup defensive players some playing time, God knows they can't be worse than the starters.

I love the people that say Terrelle is not an NFL QB when he hasn't played more than 1 snap in the real season. I watched him at OSU and he most certainly has talent and with the right QB coach could make a difference. But, go ahead, stick with Palmer because that has really worked out thus far! With Pryor, he stinks and the Raiders lose, at best, he comes out and lights it up and they actually win a few games!

As a Raider fan I agree he needs to play some but like I and others have said the offense is not this teams issue.

Myers, Moore, DHB and hopefully Criner or Streeter are a pretty promising future. Maybe no #1, yet, but promising. We finally have a RB being patient behind our line and the #'s are getting better. Reese may not be the long term but he's a good enough to not be the problem guy and opens up the passing offense more.

This teams problem is that we need a new MLB, an end that can rush the passer, DT's that actually play within the scheme and CB's that can get out of thier own way. Oh and some decent safety play wouldn't hurt.

Unless Pryor can play middle linebacker or rush the passer....seeing what he's got is largely irrelevant.

Even Matt Ryan has 5 pick games...his defense just doesn't give up 50 points a week.

As a Raider fan I agree he needs to play some but like I and others have said the offense is not this teams issue.

Myers, Moore, DHB and hopefully Criner or Streeter are a pretty promising future. Maybe no #1, yet, but promising. We finally have a RB being patient behind our line and the #’s are getting better. Reese may not be the long term but he’s a good enough to not be the problem guy and opens up the passing offense more.

Does the name Colin Kaepernick mean anything?

Do raider fans really believe Kaepernick came out of college with more big time game competition than Pryor?

The 49ers made a decision, got the more physically gifted guy ready, and now look at that team. They have a bonafide playmaker at QB.

How in the hell can the raider brass have hot tub leinart listed as their #2 ahead of Pryor? Real forethought going on with that decision.

Yeah I know, the idiot former coach made one of the dumbest , costliest moves to acquire Palmer, can’t undo that clusterf#*k, but don’t compound the mistake by not looking ahead.

Let Pryor get some real practice reps for a week or 2, and give him a shot.

Just look around the league and look at some of the QB’s who are playing, and then wonder why someone as physically gifted as Pryor, who’s played QB his whole life doesn’t merit a commitment from the raider brass for some playing time.

Seeing some of these comments are just plain silly. Carson Palmer is not the reason the Raiders are losing. I watch every snap of every game, the last game the interception was off Marcel's hands. Carson has thrown for over 3k yards, 18 Td and 11 ints. He has been sacked 24 times.

Here is the problem....

No defense at all...at least there doesn't look like a plan.

The offense is horrible because Greg Knapp can't call plays, when Carson can go hurry up the offense looks good.

Starting Pryor now could kill this kids future and confidence, he in all probability was a wasted pick by a very old man (rest in peace AL) that was past his prime.

If you want to see what Pryor can do give him a couple of "wildcat packages". He reminds me of a faster JaMarcus Russell. Raiders need to turn the page draft a shutdown corner and fast defensive end and one OT/OG.

im a lifelong raider fan that has accepted the fact that its gonna get worse before it gets better the team needed to be somewhat stripped of bad contracts and underperforming players (stanfod routt) this is a process and it will probably take a little longer that most due to the state of array the team was in last offseason

im really disturbed by the fact that mcfadden was not able to succeed in this running system and marce reece has almost 200 yards in 2 games (rushing)

I say again that it really didn't need to be this way. Molding a team in the new image of McKenzie and Allen is one thing, but they took a decent (8-8) team turned it into one of the 2-3 worst teams in the game. Some of these changes clearly weren't for the better and one doesn't even need to really know much about the game to see that. Nearly everyone has underachieved in these new systems. Other than Brandon Myers I'd like to know one player that has been better this year than last? I hold all the Raider brass responsible for giving us yet another year of crappy football this year when just a little ego moderation and leaving some things alone (like the entire offense of 2011) and we'd at least be competitive every week. Why did we need to tear every, single thing down from before? For all the complaining about Al when he was alive, he never presided over football this bad in 40 years.

"...They really thought Carson palmer was the qb to go forward with? They should’ve used those picks to invest in someone else instead! The threatening retirement was a huge red flag, come on raiders..."

Amazing how people forget that you can't pick serviceable QBs from trees in the middle of the season to run your offense. The Raiders were stuck. Of course, they PUT themselves in that situation... but it was what it was. No GM, owner just passed away...as the saying goes, "desperate times leads to desperate measures!" All those haters disguised as "experts" seem to forget the Raiders lost their QB at mid-season so a move had to be made. Did everyone forget Kyle Boller was the back-up? And incase any Bengals fans come in thanking us for that #1 pick...How IS Dre working out? Yeah...I thought so....
