What in the WORLD is it that provokes you fanatics to jabber on about such silly things? You realize (maybe you don’t) that you’re talking about a private, for-profit organization, right? You don’t even own a single share of stock in that company, you silly little girl.

It’s like me blathering on about Apple products: Apple Fan for Life, Baby! See how stupid that sounds? But, at least with Apple, I can own shares of stock, and their products can directly influence my life. But “YOUR” Raiders? No. They just appear on TV, jut like any other TV show that happens to come on.

At this point the smartest move the Raiders could make is to play for draft picks, willingly lose every remaining game in hopes of getting some good draft picks. In that regard playing Terelle Pryor would be a great idea as the Raiders can evaluate him in game conditions as to whether he’s a keeper or to show him off some in hopes of getting a good trade for him.

A real shame seeing the Raiders stink year after year. I hear Gruden is looking to coach again, maybe the Raiders could be smart enough to get him back to Oakland now that he won’t have to deal with Big Al.

The 2006-07 season escapes you doesn’t it?2-14 and drafting Jamarcus Russell doesn’t compute?Yeah Al has presided over just asker worse teams than this years

And while we’re at it, why not give the backup defensive players some playing time, God knows they can’t be worse than the starters.

Myers, Moore, DHB and hopefully Criner or Streeter are a pretty promising future. Maybe no #1, yet, but promising. We finally have a RB being patient behind our line and the #’s are getting better. Reese may not be the long term but he’s a good enough to not be the problem guy and opens up the passing offense more.

This teams problem is that we need a new MLB, an end that can rush the passer, DT’s that actually play within the scheme and CB’s that can get out of thier own way. Oh and some decent safety play wouldn’t hurt.

Unless Pryor can play middle linebacker or rush the passer….seeing what he’s got is largely irrelevant.

Even Matt Ryan has 5 pick games…his defense just doesn’t give up 50 points a week.

Do raider fans really believe Kaepernick came out of college with more big time game competition than Pryor?

The 49ers made a decision, got the more physically gifted guy ready, and now look at that team. They have a bonafide playmaker at QB.

How in the hell can the raider brass have hot tub leinart listed as their #2 ahead of Pryor? Real forethought going on with that decision.

Yeah I know, the idiot former coach made one of the dumbest , costliest moves to acquire Palmer, can’t undo that clusterf#*k, but don’t compound the mistake by not looking ahead.

Let Pryor get some real practice reps for a week or 2, and give him a shot.

Just look around the league and look at some of the QB’s who are playing, and then wonder why someone as physically gifted as Pryor, who’s played QB his whole life doesn’t merit a commitment from the raider brass for some playing time.

Here is the problem….

No defense at all…at least there doesn’t look like a plan.

The offense is horrible because Greg Knapp can’t call plays, when Carson can go hurry up the offense looks good.

Starting Pryor now could kill this kids future and confidence, he in all probability was a wasted pick by a very old man (rest in peace AL) that was past his prime.

If you want to see what Pryor can do give him a couple of “wildcat packages”. He reminds me of a faster JaMarcus Russell. Raiders need to turn the page draft a shutdown corner and fast defensive end and one OT/OG.

Amazing how people forget that you can’t pick serviceable QBs from trees in the middle of the season to run your offense. The Raiders were stuck. Of course, they PUT themselves in that situation… but it was what it was. No GM, owner just passed away…as the saying goes, “desperate times leads to desperate measures!” All those haters disguised as “experts” seem to forget the Raiders lost their QB at mid-season so a move had to be made. Did everyone forget Kyle Boller was the back-up? And incase any Bengals fans come in thanking us for that #1 pick…How IS Dre working out? Yeah…I thought so….
