Really? It must stink pretty good because they had one of the worst rosters in pro football just a couple years ago and have quickly turned into a young team with a scary defense and as much promise and upside as any team in the league.

TB never actually said that…even by Sherman’s own admission. When he was asked about it, SHERMAN was putting voice to what he thought the look on TB’s face meant when he was yapping at him. Hey, I’m of the school that if you win you can talk even though I don’t like it unless it’s a response to something the other team did (which it wasn’t in Sherman’s case). But TB did nothing wrong here.

There is a general “stink” that hangs over the Seahawks. It starts with a morally bankrupt head coach who couldn’t flee USC fast enough thereby avoiding any consequences for the illegal behavior under his command.

I think Sherman’s comments are a bit over confident and border on arrogant. I think he is on the right track in not letting the issue affect his daily routine, but he could have presented his feelings a bit more diplomatically. I’m also curious to learn more about the rules regarding ADHD medicine and why it is considered an illegal substance in the NFL? I appreciate your ‘to the point’ post and it was interested to hear the quotes from the players. Curious to see how this all plays out!

And then oh what a travesty – he changed his twitter handle to “optimus prime”.

The fact that some football fans think responding to brady’s badgering and changing a twitter name for fun suddenly makes sherman a ‘trash talker’ who doesn’t deserve a fair shake makes me realize why it’s so easy for the NFL to start spoon feeding us watered down baby-diaper football.

Can anyone actually come up with any incendiary unproved Sherman “trash talk”? No. Ok then.
