He has had 2 big seasons, 2010 and 2011. I have two questions:

1. Why is this dude going to be playing for his sixth team in eight seasons?

2. Why did he not produce until he turned 30?

Red flags, in my opinion, but if I could find satisfactory, believable answers to those two questions I would claim him.

Patriots have injury to Chandler Jones and PED suspension for Jermaine Cunningham and are thin at 4-3 DE position.

Next up is Trevor Scott or Brandon Deaderick, so putting a claim in on Babin could make sense for a stop-gap measure.
