Hey, guess what. The Texans have winning records 3 of last 4 years (including this year) and the 2 years before that were 8-8. That’s not 10 years of losing. Plus, I see a ton of Lions fans on here whining just as much about poor officiating.

This guy is overrated just like his team. Hope we see them again in the playoffs where we will eliminate them. AGAIN. The Texans are 1-6 against us all time. They got us when we were too injured and beat up last time. Never happen again

You’re the joke – there’s no penalty against leading into the QB with your helmet. Only leading into the QB’s head with your helmet is a penalty. Go learn something…

Chuck Cecil would have ended up playing the game for free if he got fined for every hit leading with his head. And the guy supposedly weighed 170 pounds soaking wet when he played.

People are talking about hos bad the officiating was in that game because it was on nat’l TV. Lions fans are probably complaining the least because we’re used to it. This was a pretty average week officiating wise for us.

He is a quarterback! Dude was trying to get somewhere near the ball carrier and fell into the fetal position to avoid contact.

Terrible call……and calling for a fine? Even worse!

It’s football. It was a clean hit. The contact was incidental. That slide-up rule needs to be trashed.

Bottom line, Watt wasn’t trying to intentionally injure Stafford. Watt is a beast and if he wanted to injure a player, that player would be out for the season.

I think this is an approrpiate time to start making jokes about Gooddell requiring the quarterbacks to wear skirts.
