In a game when you’d think both sides would want to run as much as possible, one might not be able to.

The Panthers just announced that running back Jonathan Stewart would be doubtful for Sunday’s trip to Kansas City with an ankle injury, via Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer. That leaves the Panthers running game (however much of it they decide to use this week) in the hands of once-demoted DeAngelo Williams and fullback Mike Tolbert.

Considering all the Chiefs seem able to do is run, it takes away from what could have been a sub-three hour game.
