It looks like the Bears will have running back Matt Forte on the field against the Seahawks on Sunday.
During last week’s victory over the Vikings, Forte tweaked the ankle injury that kept him out of one game earlier this season. He’s been sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber at his house and visiting a chiropractor to help the injury, which Forte says isn’t as serious as the original one, heal up in time for this weekend’s game. He said that he expects to play as a result of the work he’ done to heal up this week.
“I had a lot of different treatments and I’m feeling pretty good,” Forte said, via Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Forte has been able to practice on both Wednesday and Thursday in a limited fashion, which is a pretty good sign that he’ll be on the field. The Bears are 6-1 this season when they run for at least 100 yards, so his presence should be a good thing for their chances at staying in front in the NFC North this week.
