So much to comment on:

What’s the difference between an active and an inactive Tebow? Without all the media reports would anyone have noticed?

Is Tebow getting benched for getting Fireman Ed fired? He reportedly quit because fans were mad at him for wearing a Sanchez jersey – who were they rooting for?

And for the guy who said that McElroy doesn’t have Tebow’s pedigree, let’s review. Both played in the SEC, both won a national championship, but only one played in a pro-style offense and only one hasn’t been involved in all the chaos that is this year’s NY Jets. You could easily argue that McElroy’s pedigree is better.

There is maybe a 1 in 10,000 chance that McElroy can be a starting QB in the NFL. He just doesn’t have the arm or the pedigree. Best we could hope for would be for him to be the type of player that, when surrounded with talent which the Jets dont have, can come in for maybe 3 games around week 10 and when your top QB goes down and can win 2 of them with an abridged offensive play book. Even this coaching staff would have seen something there if it was there. Lets face it fellow Jets fans…this team has so many holes that it is startling…Offensive line, QB, RB, WR, Dline, LBs…Other than that we are good

Those preseason games, and Alabama football games are certainly a clear indication of future NFL success. Just look at Nick Foles and Brodie Croyle

This jets team won’t even see what he has..sad.

So he’s active last week with known broken ribs but this week when presumably he’s getting better they deactivate him?

Yet again, I wouldn’t want the Jets to put him into this troubling offense. Kid needs a fair chance before they throw him into a pack of wolves.

I’m less concerned with Tim Tebow specifically and more concerned with how it seemingly took two weeks before anyone knew the guy had broken ribs. In the past, hasn’t the NFL fined teams for blatantly abusing the injury report? I can only imagine Tebow’s name wasn’t on it or else there would have been no surprise when the news about his ribs came out. So where’s the fine in this instance?
