To be honest we don’t have the tackling ability and closing speed at the LB position to stop the run effectively. That being said the Redskins don’t have have the defense to stop us from throwing points on the board, forcing them to abandon the run playing catch-up. The Giants need to focus on; 1. Getting an early lead 2. pressuring RG3 into making throws on the run towards his weak side, He will eventually make a mistake. We employed this tactic against the Godly Holy Eagles, (GMen’s Daddy, My Daddy) during the miracle at the Meadowlands until we abandoned that plan in and allowed Dad to beat us for the worst loss in Giants history.

Unless you trust Sash or Will Hill as the other safety playing double high, which no one in their right mind should at this point.

Kenny playing tonight allows Rolle to stay in the box and help contain Griffin. How this is not readily obvious to any Giants fan going into this game is beyond me.

Point is; with Phillips injured he is a liability. You are obvious unfamiliar with the Giants philosophy of; sum of the parts. Phillips nor any other defensive and offensive player other thank Eli is a complete game changer. We are a team built with depth bc that’s what wins late in the season. Rather than have a half able player play we can bring a replacement in who is up to speed and able to fit into the machine that is the 2012 reigning world champions. Replacing Phillips with Stevie Brown will not hurt us like it would hurt the Steelers replacing Polamalu on the or the Ravens replac. Reed. Stevie has the speed and awareness to cover for Rolle, 5 interceptions on the year has to count for something in regards to coverage and field awareness. furthermore we dont play run capable QBs that way, with a spy. We will overload his strong side forcing him to move towards his weak side and limit his options. Come on, Giants 101 here.

Actually I’m glad to see the Redskins rise again while at the same time the Eagles look like they have some bad seasons in front of them.

And to be honest, Stevie Brown has been a good replacement. Not sure if Kenny playing or not playing is a game changer. Fully fit hes a very good player but in his current state, Stevie Brown is on par maybe better.

Just a wild guess, but I would hazard the two comments you cited were both by Redskins fans. I know it sounds crazy, but most fans’ allegiances don’t change when their team’s record drops below 500.

I was a fan of the Patriots even when they went 2-14 ….. at no time did I have delusions of them being anything but a 2-14 team.

They talk about two flags, which were both called correctly, mind you, but like to overlook the fact that Eli had TWO SURE TD passes to Bennett and Hixon where he simply made horrible throws. Giants “should have” won going away.

Didn’t last year and early this season, skins fans wanted their head coach fired.

Giants’ Osi had a big game last weekend, if he is starting to play like his younger days, the Giants D-line will be scary.

Eli lite up that secondary last time, he will do it again. RG3 will have a huge but I don’t think he can go blow for blow with Eli, just because the Giants have the better WR core, and better defense. If the Giants can’t stop the Skins run game, it could be trouble for the Giants. If the Giants get up by 14 or more points early on the Skins, I believe it will be a long losing day for the Skins. This should be a good game and I wish this game was playing right now, I can’t wait.

Fine, Monday’s the chance to make amends.
