Despite a 97-yard touchdown drive by Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, the Seahawks missed out on a road win because of their defense.

The Bears just tied the game and sent it into overtime with a 46-yard field goal as time expired, making it 17-17.

The Seahawks for some reason didn’t quadruple-cover Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who reeled in a 56-yard grab to set up the game-tying field goal by Robbie Gould.

Marshall was the target of 14 of Jay Cutler’s 26 passes, and was essentially the only one that could make a play. And the Seahawks let him.
