Steelers-Ravens having a Steelers-Ravens game

Pittsburgh Steelers v Baltimore Ravens Getty Images

Just when it looked like the Ravens were about to blow this one open, the Steelers have forced a 20-20 tie in the fourth quarter.

Ravens safety Ed Reed killed a scoring chance with an interception in the end zone (after collecting Emmanuel Sanders‘ inexplicable fumble earlier). But the Steelers got the ball back on a sack-fumble by James Harrison, and just scored a touchdown when Heath Miller hit the pylon on his way down with a Charlie Batch pass.

The old names are fading away from this rivalry, but there are some constants.

Close finishes are among them.

Ravens Defense is dominating again. Steelers have been lucky this whole game. Give Flacco the ball and he will win yet another one on the way to their Superbowl Championship!

    Steelers: 366 yards
    Ravens: 288 yards

    Total domination, yep.

Beat by a third string QB…that must sting a little. Big Ben next week…steelers still a threat.

Nice! Nice domination of a 38 year old 3rd string QB. Ravens = Pretenders.

Steelers have been lucky? You mean like Sanders fumbling with no one around and Batch missing a wide open Wallace?

This game could have been a blowout with Charlie Batch at the helm. Hilarious.

The Ravens will take the division this year, but make no mistake, they’re second best in that division.

Congrats Steelers… you deserved to win. You played better.

    Inexplicable???

He dropped the ball, how’s that for an explanation?

I think most viewers saw that.

You have to feel good for Batch after this performance. Two mistakes in the endzone, but overall a solid outing. He will probably never play another down for the Steelers, but he goes out a winner.

Well the Steelers got some lucky calls and snuck one away from the Ravens today. When the playoffs start and Flacco starts dropping in the perfect passes like the one to Boldin the Ravens will be unstoppable. The Ravens did not want to show all their cards as they will probably be playing the Steelers in the playoffs.

    OooooohaaOooooooh.

As embarrassing as it is, it could have been far worse. This ain’t gonna be the year either folks…

Baltimore is not a championship caliber team. Period. Great job by whole Steeler staff and roster.

    BTW-

Good game by the Ravens AND Steelers. It was a definitive rivalry game.

My heart goes out to Ravens fans; if not for the grace of (the Football) God(s) go I….

    Awesome high-blood-pressure game.

And as much as i HATE Ed Reed i’m constantly shocked by how he is always around the ball for the fumble recovery or INT. HOFer.

And, as a Steelers fan, my best to Suggs; he’s a jerk but also is a great player.
