Getty ImagesRavens linebacker Terrell Suggs came off the field during Sunday’s loss to the Steelers holding his arm, making his status a hot topic after the game in Baltimore.
Suggs didn’t speak extensively to the media after the game, but Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that he said he would be “all right” before leaving the locker room. Coach John Harbaugh said there was “no immediate word” about Suggs’ injury.
Despite Suggs’ optimism, Wilson’s colleague Jeff Zrebiec reports that there were a lot of concerned people in the Ravens locker room after the game. Suggs has played in the last six games since returning from his offseason Achilles injury. He hasn’t been quite the same player after such a long layoff, but losing him would be an unquestionable blow to a Ravens defense that had been playing better in recent weeks.
Monday will likely bring updates that will either confirm Suggs’ optimistic take or leave the Ravens with a problem to deal with as they start planning for next week’s game against the Redskins.

Poor Ravens…. NOT!
Seemed extremely quiet day for Suggs even before the late injury. Don’t remember his name called once all day.
Suggs is clearly not right, I guess that injury hasnt healed completely.
Lol broncos are going to smash on the ravens! Von miller time!!
You people are worried about Suggs? He was making Plays in the backfield early in the game. I guess al you look at is sacks?
Either way, this team is
Not going to go anywhere with a quarterback who can’t even out-perform Charlie batch while playing at home.
It’s sickening to see More talent still wasting away while the ravens continue to insist they’re going to make it work with the QB they drafted in the first round.
First BOLLER,
Now flacco. Please, just give someone else a shot already!
Drama queen.
Can’t wait to see him go on morning sports TV and tell everyone how great Flacco is.
ball so hard = fall so hard
Great game plan hens. Try to throw long bombs all day against the #1 pass defense. Must not have studied much film this year — too busy looking past the Steelers. Thanks for not using Ray Rice so much. We appreciate that.
Get well soon, Suggsy. Easily my favorite non-Steeler.
That sucks. Rival or not, he’s a hell of a baller when he’s healthy. Here’s to hoping for a quick and speedy recovery for Suggs whatever his injury is.
