Foles will start for the Eagles, even if Vick’s well

It’s not technically a white flag, but it probably signals the end of a few careers with the Eagles.

Coach Andy Reid said a few moments ago that rookie quarterback Nick Foles will start the rest of the season, even if Michael Vick is well. At the moment, it’s a moot point, because Vick hasn’t been cleared after his concussion.

If they’re not going to play Vick, it’s clearer (than it already was) that the Eagles are looking to the future rather than paying Vick $15.5 million next season.

Maybe Reid will take him along to his next stop, because it appears they’ll both be looking.
