The NFC East has definitely fallen off, but to say the Redskins aren’t even worth talking about is foolish!

RG3 is going to be great for years. Philly still has the pieces to be a good team, remember 4 out of their 5 OLs are out for the year, one of which is an all-pro.

With the emergence of Bryce Brown, if Philly gets a coach who runs the ball (Cowher or Chip Kelly) they could be relevant. Who knows maybe they will switch to a 3-4 and draft Teo too.

As long as Romo is the QB in Dallas, they are screwed.

Redskins are better than the Colts IMO because they have a good O-Line, a solid RB, and a few players (London Fletcher, Ryan Kerrigan) on Defense.

The Colts have NO ONE besides Luck and Reggie Wayne. Yet they have the best record of the 3 teams.

Sure Luck throws picks, how can’t he? Every Defense knows he’s going to throw it because the colts have NO run game.

Wilson has one of the best RBs and O-Lines in the NFL. He is awesome and I wish the Eagles drafted him, but come on man! Luck is on a terrible team, yet they are 8-4. Crazy!

… RG3 could have the last laugh though if the Skins surpass the Giants and win the East.

With the Eagles down the Giants pretty much own the division, however as always they’re inconsistent though tend to get hot around the right time. Their inconsistency doesn’t do the division any good.

Cowboys have talent but too many egos from the top down to every do anything. They’ve only been relevant to the media and the media only. Besides the one year they beat Philly three times due to terrible play calling and lack of adjustments on Phillys behalf, they’re kind of irrelevant.

Redskins. Not even worth talking about.

However, I agree that it’s just a case of a guy giving props to his current teammate. All three are fantastic QB’s as rookies.

I’m a Seahawks fan and fully on the Wilson bandwagon, but even I would take Luck over Wilson if given the opportunity.

This is Sherman talking up his teammate, heck, his team’s leader! That’s exactly what he should be doing.

Would anyone really expect a Seahawk player to say, “Well, yeah Russell is having a good year, but I think RGIII is a better QB?”

Lets look back after 5 years and see who really is having the better career.

I voted your post down because the cap hit the Redskins took resulted from sanctions over taking advantage of an uncapped year. The Colts’s dead cap space resulted from their front office’s incompetence.

I’m glad to have Griffin, but had the Colts taken him and we got stuck with Luck, I’m pretty sure I’d have been stoked either way.

A man who can’t keep his word is no man at all. I think the redskins should excommunicate you.

Luck also has 17 TD’s, 16 interceptions and a career passer rating of 76.1.

Luck is overrated and shouldn’t even be in the same conversation as Wilson or Griffin.

You put either RGIII or midget Wilson on the Colts and the Colts are 4-8 not 8-4. Luck has no running game, no offensive line, one reliever to throw to and an atrocious defense. Little Wilson has an elite defense and elite RB. RGIII has a good running game, decent defense and more offensive weapons at his disposal. If you can’t see that I feel sorry for you and your lack of intellect.

No knock on Luck, who is great, but Washington’s defense lost its entire weak side pass rush in week 2, and its secondary couldn’t cover a TPS report. As for receivers, I don’t think many people saw Reggie Wayne’s monster season coming, but to call a future hall of famer playing one of his best seasons ever “one reliever to throw to,” is a little bit ridiculous. On top of that, Griffin’s top two receiving threats (Garcon and Davis) have been injured for the vast majority of the season. The rest of his “offensive weapons” set the all-time NFL record for drops in a game in week 8.

Again, not a knock on Luck, but to say he has done more with less is a very hard case to make, especially factoring in the talent difference between the NFC and the AFC. Either way, I think we can all agree that Wilson, while certainly a talented and legitimate franchise quarterback, has done less with more than either Luck or Griffin.

I’m a Redskins fan, life long (unfortunately so for many years). I watch Redskins games, I don’t watch the Colts and I don’t watch the Seahawks. I don’t have an opinion about Luck because he isn’t my quarterback.

The Redskins coaches have stated publicly that they intended to draft Russell instead of Cousins to be the backup to RG3 if he happened to fall to them. They certainly saw something in him and I think the Seahawks got a steal based on his draft position vs. performance (thus far).

I think he deserves to be in the conversation of rookies, but lets all take a few years before we decide who to send to Canton, ok?

All of you skins fans that keep saying colts have an easy schedule, who have the Skins played.

RG3 will be fun to watch, but in the end Luck and Wilson will ultimately have a better shot at winning a Super Bowl down the road, IMO. “Athletic” quarterbacks, with offenses structured similar to college ball, don’t change the face of the franchise. Once teams get all the tape and break it down D coordinators (the good ones at least) can dial up packages to keep them in check. For example, the Rams figured out Kaepernick after one game and beat him the next, and you can’t forget Newton last year versus this year, Mike Vick, etc. Sure, they’re flashy and fun to watch, and undoubtedly good with big playmaking ability, but in the end they get figured out.

All three are great players (from what I’ve seen through 12 weeks) and hopefully will be for years to come, just makes the game that much more interesting.

Further, an NFL season–every NFL season–is filled with questionable calls that hurt or help quarterbacks. It’s disingenuous to single out one call with the sole intent to diminish a player’s achievements. If you’re going to do it, make a scorecard and pick apart every questionable call for every quarterback.

Or, you could just assume that it all pretty much levels out over the long haul and elevate your analysis above a lazy, simplistic narrative.

Logicalvoice is such a hater. he is always the first to post on articles that contain Andrew Lucks name. Why is he/she so concerned about Luck if he hates him. MMMM, do we have a possible skins fan that really wanted Luck.

And post all the numbers your want, it goes like this:

Luck 8-4
Wilson 7-5
RG3 4-7

By those numbers looks like Luck is 2 times better. Especially considering all the “experts” said that the skins had a better overall team.

Skins have better defense and running game then the colts, so why so bad?

Something must be in the water in the Midwest, because these idiots from flyover country can’t get their facts straight. Kind of hard to have a valid opinion when you are oblivious to reality. RG3 will be 6-6 after tonight.
