Getty ImagesIt feels like the Bills have been dealing with injuries on the offensive line all season and the problem isn’t getting any better.
Center Eric Wood tore his MCL, an injury which could wind up costing him the rest of the season and will certainly keep him out of the lineup for the next couple of weeks. Right tackle Chris Hairston has a foot injury that could keep him out for Week 14 as well. Throw in season-ending injuries to Erik Pears, Chad Rinehart and Zebrie Sanders and you’ve got a lot of players down at one position for Buffalo.
“We’ll probably have to make some kind of roster move to give us a little bit more depth on the offensive line,” coach Chan Gailey said Monday, via WGR550.com.
They made one to create room for a healthy body on the line. Linebacker Kirk Morrison, who has been inactive for all 12 games this season, was cut. Morrison was beaten out for a starting job in training camp and hasn’t been able to force his way into the starting lineup. The inability to break into the lineup isn’t a good sign about the future prospects of the eight-year vet who started in Oakland and Jacksonville before coming to Buffalo in a reserve role in 2011.

he’s been washed up since he was in Oakland
you can tell he’s just been around for the ride. seems like a much better broadcaster than football player at this point.
Wow, o line
Bills season in a nutshell: start slow, start to figure some things out, injuries mount and kill any chance of relevance, thirteen years and counting.
Man, this guy used to be a stud.
I’m sure they can pick Demetress Bell back up in the off season.
I can’t believe how bad the injury bug hits the Buffalo Bills every year. Like clockwork, the team starts off every season losing two to three starters for a couple of weeks, then all of a sudden right when they are just getting back a few of their key starters… Bam! They lose several important players, usually from the same area, like 3/4 of the Offensive line. It blows!
Class act, def will be missed by players, best wishes Kirk
