This guy was a waste of space! He kept himself out of the line up for weeks…cleared by the medical staff…he kept saying he wasn’t ready! He left his toughness in Baltimore.

Had he not had Kyle Boller as his qb, Heap might still be playing. As a Ravens fan, I would see week after week, Boller making these insane passes that would get his receivers killed. I have always said that Boller was/would be taking 2-3 years off of his receivers playing careers.

Until the Cards decide to field an NFL worthy QB, it doesn’t matter who they cut, keep, or trade. Larry Fitzgerald is easily the #2 WR talent in the league, & could challenge for #1 if only they could keep a good QB healthy.
Admittedly not a simple fix…their OL needs a complete tear down & rebuild.
Poor Fitz. Wasted good years.

Heap has always been one of my favorite TE’s. I hope he can catch on somewhere where he’ll be used in the correct way. Somewhere that will use his blocking skills along with his ability to box out opponents while making the catch. Awesome player for a team needing help in the redzone.

I can assure you nobody should sign him. He was cut, and iz made comments a few weeks ago, because he was taking a little too long to come off the injury report. Apparently people in the locker room were questioning why he was taking twice as long to recover from an injury that others had as well. He lost everyone on the team for the reputation of rather collecting a check in the trainers room than on the field. He’s done unless someone wants to pay him to get taped up and massaged before every game. And then stand on the sideline with his hat backwards and talking to women in the stands.
