The Bears have struggled all year finding someone other than Brandon Marshall to catch passes.

Now one of the few contributors other than Marshall might not make it this week, with wide receiver Earl Bennett’s status in doubt because of a concussion.

According to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times, a source said Bennett was likely to miss Sunday’s game against the Vikings.

Bennett scored a first quarter touchdown against the Seahawks, but missed the second half and overtime after suffering a concussion.

The Bears have held Jay Cutler, Devin Hester and Shea McClellin out after their concussions.

The hope is that Hester and and Alshon Jeffery might return, but Bennett’s absence underlines just how lopsided the Bears offense is. Marshall’s 91 receptions are more than triple the next guy on the list (Matt Forte, 30). And after Bennett’s 23, no one else on the roster has reached 20.
