Sorry hater. They have a top 5 defense, a playmaking QB and a punishing RB. They absolutely punked the Patriots in Seattle.

You know someone has nothing when they play the “cheater” card. Like Adderall gives a significant ability to make an entire opposing team throw a pick, fumble a ball or NOT BAT DOWN A PASS IN THE END ZONE.

Im sick of that idiotic b.s. whining – the DB was supposed to bat it down, not pick it off.

Sounds like some a$% hurt fans that are made the “national approved” teams arent dominating.

Same story with the “they didnt beat us” card the Pack pulled on the Giants in the playoffs.

This is a different season.

Last few games, the ‘Hawks have been playing 3-deep zone every single play. What happened to bump and run?

Nauseating to see corners who were selected and groomed to play press man turning their hips and bailing out before the snap. Keep everything in front of you, right?

It’s weird, but I think that style of Gus Bradley D (stipulating that earlier this year, with the press man, we were playing Pete Carrol D) suits Truf, Thurmond, and Jeremy Lane pretty well. Tight man works well when you reroute WRs and give the front 4 an extra half-second to get home. That hasn’t been happening lately.

Now’s the time to see what we have in Jeremy Lane. He’s long and fast, and doesn’t make mistakes when the ball is in the air. But (and it’s a big but) so far he’s shown zero ball skills, and zero physicality in run support. He’s a cover corner currently miscast as a special teamer (which is really only just saying “he’s our 5th CB”.)

I guess I’m saying I’m concerned about losing Browner and Sherm, but not all that worried about the next man up.

To the fan above who said “lucky win against the Bears”: How does 2 drives, 24 plays, 177 yards, and 2 TDs to win a game constitute “luck”? Maybe if the Bears could beat the Packers….ahahahahahahaha, like that’s ever going to happen again.

As for Browner, he was the guy that QBs would target so they didn’t have to throw at Sherman. Not as good a cover guy, but he made up for it by making big plays, like forcing fumbles. Walter Thurmond III was so highly regarded by the coaching staff he was a starter last year until injury forced him out and gave Sherman a chance. He’ll be right at home.

Given how well Wilson, Rice, and Tate have been playing, anyone who thinks they can easily outscore the Seattle Seahawks now that they’re down a CB has another thing coming.

They don’t need him to beat the cardinals, rams, or bills, and probably not against SF, even if they kick that game, 3-1 over final 4 and they are in, and have him back. Don’t sleep on Walter Thurmond.

Walter Thurmond is going to be the next pro bowl corner for Seattle. If he gets hurt again, both Sherman and Browner will be back for the NFC championship game and the Super Bowl.

Sherman waiting til he’s done banging bodies with Fitz on Sunday. Trufant is a liabilty, Thurmond is an unknown quantity and an injury looking for a place to happen. Maybe one of these practice squad guys turns into Pete Hunter for the Hawks.

Browner and Sherman both played in Week 1 versus the Cardinals and Seattle still lost. Granted, Wilson is loads better now than that initial game. But don’t wave of Arizona as an easy win. They are still NFL talent.

Yeah, I think taking the suspension now was a good move.

I think people will be surprised at just how good Walter Thurmond is. He was the starter (ahead of Sherman) last year when he broke his leg.

The big drop in quality will come when Sherman begins his suspension. Trufant has clearly lost a step and is currently hurt. It might be possible to move the safety over to corner for two games if the backup safety is clearly superior to the options at corner.

Smart. He’s back for the playoffs. It would be best for the team is Sherman does the same before Sunday.

Trufant, Thurmond will hopefully start this weekend. Hope they and others can hold down the fort.

Definitely knew there was no way he was gonna win, can’t really argue with a blood test, especially when you know you are guilty. Might as well take the suspension now so he can be with his team if they make it to the playoffs.
