It’s funny going into last week a BAL victory and CIN loss = Ravens clinch division. Now you have the PIT & CIN at 7-5 with BAL at 9-3. The Ravens have the hardest schedule by far with games at WAS, DEN, NYG & at CIN. These teams are a combined 27-21. PIT’s schedule is SD, at DAL, CIN & CLE. Those teams are a combined 21-27. CIN’s schedule is DAL, at PHI, at PIT & BAL. Those teams are a combined 25-23. PIT has the schedule advantage playing two 4-8 teams and 3 out of 4 at home. But while they have important players coming off injury, sometimes there is a lapse in chemistry when that happens. Too, we don’t know how effective Big Ben will be once he starts taking shots again. BAL should get it done, but they like PIT have people out and people coming off long term layoffs. And they don’t play a team with a losing record. CIN situation seems simple, they are stable right now with injury. They have to win the 2 NFC East games and then they earn another shot at the PIT/BAL hurdle they can’t get over after sweeping both teams in 2009.
